Ok i'm up i'm up, I turned off my alarm clock. Might at as well get ready for work today. Why can't I have this week off.

Stop talking to yourself Maddie. Just go get ready. I stood up and took a shower. After that, I changed, got ready, and went downstairs.

I checked my phone and saw two new messages.

Ashton aka Banana Bestie:

Hey banana bestie! How r u?! Miss ya.

Hey Ash! I'm good, thanks. You? We should hangout again sometime! Miss you too x

Gracie:

Morning girll! I'm heading to starbucks right now and I'm super bored. I feel bad for not hanging out when I had to babysit. Let me make it up to you! I owe you one. Say it and I'll repay it!

Awhh thanks girl! But its okay. I actually have to tell you something. I'll be at starbucks soon.

Few minutes later

Alright! I here at starbucks working. See ya soon!

"Maddie? Did you hear me? I've been trying to call you for the past 5 minutes. Get off your phone and eat breakfast sweetie." Mom said.

"Oh! Sorry mom! I was texting Ashton and Gracie." I smiled, sitting down.

"Here's your bagel. And about Ashton... Do you like him?" Mom quickly questioned me which startled me.

"Yeah he's really kind and generous." I took a bite of the bagel.

"But do you like like him?"

"What? No. He's like a bestfriend to me. Or perhaps even a brother. He took me out but that doesn't mean we're dating or something. He looks out for me.. You know?" I explained.

"Alright. I'll drop it. But you should go now or else you'll be late. Talk later. Be home on time too!"

"Oh crap. Thanks mom." I kissed her on the cheek and looked for my dad.

"Go!!! I'll tell him for ya." She read my mind.

"Thanks mom you're the best." I grabbed my phone, earphones, and bag. I rushed out the door to my car.

Arghhh. I turned off my alarm. Hmm.. What should I do today? Oh yeah. Grab starbucks and meet up with Calum. Wait isn't Maddie working at starbucks today? And if she's there... Then Gracie must be there...

I stood up and got ready. I brushed my hair and went downstairs. Mom wasn't in the kitchen but there was already breakfast set down for me.

"Mum?" I called.

"In the room! I'm getting ready. Eat your breakfast."

"Alright." I sat down and took a bite of my toast with vegemite.
