Prince Marve and I stridden the path where we came in. Glenieze came along with us and something revitalized her body, her aura lightens up and the glow in her eyes became so alive. I decided not to let her leave since I didn’t want to be alone with the prince. I should give myself a space from him so that it wouldn’t be hard for me if the tournament would proceed to the next level where teams should fight one another.

“Dearie, I just wondered why the shadows didn’t harm you at all and the energy of the whole island was somehow changed. Can you tell me what happened before you summon me?” Glenieze asked curiously. She was walking beside me while Prince Marve went ahead of us. The sky was still dark but it would be dawn soon since the sky was beginning to change.

“I don’t know, really. It seems that I missed something. Last thing I knew was that we were knocked down by a strong wind.” I explained to her, trying to recall the part that my memory lost.

“I believe that there’s something that made the whole island change as well as how we, spirit, felt. I know that the presence of the Light is here and you had a part of these changes. You were destined for more, dearie. Your mom should be proud of you.” Her glowing eyes became dull when she mentioned about my mom.

“I hope so. I wish I could still see her. I will find a way to release her from your world.” I was really determined. Knowing that she was alive, always gave me hope.

“Ladies, hurry up! Dawn will come soon!” Prince Marve called us. “We were almost there.”

We arrived at the place where the hanging coffins where had been. Our mates were still standing lifeless like a stone. I took the golden dust out from my hidden pocket and opened it. I looked at it trying to figure out what to do. Following my instinct, I blew the dust towards Maximus first. As the dusts touched his petrified skin, his skin gradually returned to its previous form until his whole body got its life once again. Maximus tried to intake a lot of air to breath. He struggled to move until he was finally freed from the spell casted by the shadows.

“This is the worst thing that happened to me so far.” Maximus gaze around seeing the others were still bounded by the spell. “What happened? Why is that they look like statues?”

“You’re the first one I tried to release with this dust. I’m glad it actually worked!” I exclaimed hugging him. I was glad to know that my best buddy was still alive. Maximus gave me a smirk on his face. He squeezed my cheeks and pushed me gently away.

“You’re killing me with your hugs, Krish. I can't barely breathe. Of course it worked, what will happen to you if I’m not around. You’re too clumsy and stupid.” He grinned at me knowing that I would hit him with his words.

“Ahem!” Prince Marve cut our tête-à-tête and faced me. “Krish, hand us some of dusts so that we can release the others in no time.”

“Sure” I told them and gave each of them some of the golden dust. Then, we separate to find the others and released them from the spell they were in. We were pleased that everyone was well and alive.

“So now we can proceed to the cave.” Jaxmi fired up and lit the whole area. He was really a show off. It was just amazing to see his eyes turned from red into blazing blue ones. He was good looking too.

“Hmmmm. I already got the gem.” I told them. They all went tongue-tied and confused. They were staring at me, their eyes questioning. “I’ll promise to tell you guys everything while we travelled back but not now. If this is not the right gem, I’m really sorry!” I took the gem out of my pocket and show them.

“We trust you Krish and no matter what happens; we are on your side. We’re grateful that you released us from this mess.” Reyn held my shoulder and gave me a nod. Every one of in my team also gave me an approving smile except for Voltai whose expression hadn’t change, still in his poker-faced mode.
