I was very happy that he said nothing else of my mom or my dad. We talked for awhile more, then we ate dinner. After that Ethan left. I just went upstairs and sat in my chair by the window. Eventually it got too dark to just sit there and I then just sat on my bed. If Mom were here she would say that I'm in my broken doll mode. Usually then I would snap out of it but I couldn't this time. I continued to sit there 'till I fell asleep. When I woke up I was still sitting up on my bed. I got up, my back really hurt doing this action, and walked out my door. Ms. Rose was still a sleeping so I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. By the time I made it outside the sun was beginning to rise. I walked out to the road and walked the direction the foster care lady left. Next thing you know, I see Ethan ride out onto the road with two horses. "What are you doing Ethan?!" He rides closer to me.

"I thought you might want a faster way to get to your dad. I hope you can ride a horse." Now he must have suspected that I was leaving the next day and that I knew exactly where my dad was. And if he did guess that then he was right.

"I've never even been around horses! How am I supposed to ride?" I really hope he has a smart idea. Maybe he will leave so I can continue on with my journey. The horses look kinda scary. I can't imagine myself on the back of one of the beasts that stand before me and being happy about it either.

"You don't have to, ride on my horse with me. There is enough room on here for both of us." Oh no, this is much worse, much much worse. I try to smile to be nice for his offering ,but how? "You don't have to, you know, find your dad."

I decide to just to deal with it. I jump on the back of the horse and I hold my bag close to me. "Let's get out of here. I have to find my dad."
