Shadow has always been suspicious of the Ikea Chair in his house. He'd heard the rumors about Pika, but he'd always thought that it was just a big joke. But, he was still suspicious.
The chair just sat there in the same spot, never moving. He never sat on it because he was paranoid. He thought it to be impossible, but that thought always lingered at the back of his mind.
Everyday he'd continue wondering about it, continued questioning its existence. Why didn't he just throw it out, now that's the real question here. But, what he didn't notice, was the attraction he felt to it. Or, maybe he did, maybe he just didn't want to acknowledge it, because it scared him.
One day, it all became too much and he sat on the chair and caressed it. It was weird, he thought, yet oddly enduring.
But, what Shadow hadn't known, was that it truly was Pika the Chair. He didn't need to know that though, for he loved his chair thoroughly, and nothing else mattered.
