"Pretend to be in pain," I whispered to Luna, who was still staring at me in shock. She nodded her head ever so slightly, then let out a wimpy little scream. I mentally facepalmed. I guess she either didn't scream, or couldn't really mimic true pain.
"Why are you here?" Luna asked, her voice delicate. I was planning on explaining everything to her instead of torturing her, but it had to be done with care.
"I was forced," I said simply, casting another fake Cruciatus. "They threatened not only me, but my family and friends. So I agreed to become one of them."
"Everyone was looking for you," replied Luna, who let out another little scream. "Ron was hysterical, he was very hesitant to go on the mission with Harry."
"What mission? Explain!" I said loudly, so it seemed like I was getting information out of her. "I knew Ron would be terrified, but I couldn't just let him receive, 'A fate worse than death,' I wouldn't ever forgive myself." Luna nodded, like she understood what I was saying.
"Mrs. Weasley, Fred and George are still searching for you, I'm sure. They were so upset. And you missed Bill and Fleur's wedding, it was so lovely."
"I do feel terrible for missing that. When you get out, give them my wishes." Luna nodded, and I proceeded to explain the whole situation to her, starting from when Draco appeared to me at my house and took me away. Once I was finished, I brought her back down to the cellar, gave her and Ollivander some food, and warned Ollivander that they were planning on interrogating him.
"The Dark Lord himself wants to do it," I told him in a quick whisper. "I apologize I won't be able to give you the same treatment as I gave Luna." He nodded at me, giving me a small smile that I was sure was forced.
"I'll be alright," he managed to say, and I nodded.
"Good luck," I muttered, before turning to walk up the stairs. When I arrived up there, someone grabbed my arm and pulled me to the side. "Excuse you," I said rudely, trying to see who was pulling me.
"Lioness, come with me," said a voice I knew very well. Draco. He let go of me and began to walk down the hall, toward one of the many studies in the house. Draco pulled me into the room and shut the door, then walked over to one of the bookshelves and pulled off a book.
"Is there a reason you brought me in here?" I asked, annoyed with him, and tired, and I did just want to go to sleep. I made my way over to the couch and plopped down on it, leaning back and looking over at him.
"It isn't anything you need to know," he mumbled, tucking his book under his arm and sitting next to me on the couch. I swung my legs up and rested them on his lap, and he shot me an annoyed look, but didn't say anything about it.
"Why can't I know?" I pressed on, wanting to know why he brought me in here so I could get out.
"Ijeswuntidtahspundtemewidchu," he replied, into his book so it was incoherent for me. I had no idea what he was even trying to say (( He was trying to say, "I just wanted to spend time with you," just in case you didn't get that )). I sighed and laid back, closing my eyes.
"Whatever, I guess I don't really care." I pulled my legs off of him, curling them up so I was giving him space. "Draco, come here," I said quietly, hoping he would hear. He did, and I heard him set his book down on the table in front of us and lean over me.
"What?" he asked, and I opened one of my eyes to look up at him.
"On my birthday, why did you kiss me?" I asked him, coming straight out with the question. I had been wondering since it happened, and now was my chance to ask him. He stared down at me, opening his mouth to answer, but shut it. Then, slowly, he leaned down and kissed me.
I, of course, was in shock. This was his answer to my question? He answers my kiss question with, well, a kiss? But then, like the last time, I realized this was happening, this wasn't a dream, so I snapped out of my state and returned the kiss.
We were interrupted by the door opening and someone walking in. Draco flew off of me and I sat up, looking around to see who was in the room. I saw Lucius and Narcissa, and my face turned red. Draco, on the other hand, did not look embarrassed at all.
"I apologize for.... interrupting you," Narcissa said lightly, as she seemed just as embarrassed as I did. Lucius just seemed annoyed.
"Drace, come, I have something I need you to do. Greyback brought 3 children, and I need you to...." He glanced over to me, something similar to distaste in his eyes. "Not here. Come." He turned to leave the room, Narcissa not far behind. Draco looked at me apathetically, then followed them out.
I heard mumbling from outside the door, and I figured they were talking about it, so I tiptoed over to the door to listen to their conversation.
".....to see if the boy's Potter. All you have to do is look at his face and tell us if it's him, alright? We know that the people with him are Weasley and Granger..." I gasped, my hand flying up to my mouth to cover the noise. As I heard them walking away, I opened the door and followed their footsteps, eager to see if it was actually Ron, Harry and Hermione.
We arrived in the room where the Snatchers, Bellatrix, and the 3 people were. I stood by the entrance, watching quietly as Lucius coaxed Draco into identifying who I knew was Harry. Ron stood next to him, and I had to hold back tears. When Draco kept saying he couldn't be sure if it was Harry, Lucius sighed.
"Well, go get (Y/N), then," Lucius said, clearly angry with his son. Draco nodded, and Ron let out a small gasp.
"You have (N/N)?" he insisted, struggling against the people who were holding him. "What've you done to her?" Ron was practically freaking out, trying to get away from the people holding him.
"Ron, calm down," said Hermione softly, and Ron stopped struggling, instead glaring at Lucius. Draco walked out of the room, and I had to grab him in order for him to see me.
"Lioness, my father-"
"Yes, I know. Draco, you can't tell him that it's Harry..."
"You think I don't know that, (Y/N)? It's up to you now, Father's given up on me." I nodded, then walked into the room, where the 3 looked at me, clearly shocked to see I was in such good condition, and doing this willingly. I wanted to smile and run up to Ron, give him a big bear hug and never let go, but I couldn't, and I knew it. I walked over to Lucius, gave him a smile, then turned to the Trio, the smile still on my face.
"Surprise," I said, though I wasn't sure if they took it as rude, ironic, or great.

FanfictionThis is kind of the first thing I've ever written and shown to the world ever, so it's a bit iffy (in my opinion). Many have said that it's fine the way it is, but I will be editing after I post the entire story. This is simply another Draco Malfoy...
