Chapter Three: Mate

"Mate..."

Did he just say mate? I asked myself.

Yes Liyana.

Who is Liyana?

That is your name, Liyana Moon and I'm Alina. Then she shut me out.

Hearing the word mate from his mouth brings chills to my bones but at the same time I feel scared. I felt like something about that word is wrong and I don't know what is it.

"All she will feel is pain once she find him and I will make sure of that Luciana!" A woman wearing a black dress said.

"No! I will not let that happen Lucille!" Luciana said while holding a little girl dearly.

"Don't be so sure about that..." Then Lucille vanished into thin air leaving Luciana and the little girl alone deep inside the forest...

I felt someone is shaking me tremendously and when our eyes met I knew that it was him and he was on the edge, fighting with his wolf for control.

"What the hell happen to you? You were like in a trance. Your eyes changed color and I've been calling you but you were not responding!" He said angrily.

Though he is angry I know behind those eyes that he is worried and scared of what might happen to me but he doesn't let show but instead he put his facade.

I tried to say something to at least lessen his worry but I couldn't find my voice.

"What? You suddenly lost your voice?!"

"No!" I finally said. Then he let go of me and walk back behind his table not facing me.

"This is really the last chance. What were you doing around my territory?" He asked calmly now.

I heave a sigh. How many time do I have to explain to him? But never the less I composed myself and started explaining to the arrogant alpha how I get to his territory.

"I've been telling you the truth but I guess your small brain couldn't understand it." He snarled at me.

I guess the big bad alpha couldn't take a small teasing.

I don't know where this confidence is coming but I still continue telling him how I get here.

"I woke up in the middle of the woods with no recollection of who or what I am or even why I was there in the first place. I only find out that I'm a werewolf because of my wolf. Ever since I woke up I've been roaming around the woods in the hope that I would find my way out but unfortunately I was caught and here I am."

After saying that it him, he seem unfazed and keeps glaring at the wall. I walked near him and when I was about to touch his arm and asked if he is alright he suddenly faced me.

"What are you doing?" He asked while giving me a pointed look.

"Nothing. I was just going to ask if you're alright. You shouldn't be glaring at the poor wall."

"Enough of that!" He roared. "Tell me your name." He demanded.

"Liyana, Liyana Moon." I answered.

"Well Liyana, I hate to say this but I'm your mate." He said grumpily.

"I know." I whispered then he touched my arm to draw me closer to him.

"And whether you like it or not you will stay here and you are forbidden to get out of the room unless I said so." He said with finality in his voice and then he let me go.

"Lucas!" He shouted and then the door opened and Lucas entered the room.

"You called alpha."

"Bring Liyana to my room and make sure she doesn't leave. Understood?"

"Yes alpha. I will do as you wish."

Once again I was drag to a place that I don't know where. He didn't even asked if it was alright with me. So much for being my mate.
