Chapter Six: In the Woods

The ceremony went well. All of the pack members were very welcoming and speaking of Dani....

She really give me a heart attack with all the things that we do for the preparation of the ceremony so I don't want to relieve it though she is really a good person, there just come a time that she gets overboard.

Damon.

Well Damon is still Damon. All throughout the event he keeps this expressionless face and blank eyes. I don't know why he keeps that act because I feel that behind those eyes of him hide a lot of emotions that's been hidden for a very long time.

Its been a week since the ceremony and I got to go out of my room once in while of course with Lucas accompanying me.

This day, I decided to go into the woods. I send Lucas to ask Damon for permission to go out. I was anxious that he would throw a fit and when Lucas come back to my room, my guess was correct because Lucas is sporting a big bruise on his left cheek and it looks worst.

I hurriedly rushed out of my room and went to Damon's office. I don't know why I suddenly get this confidence to face him but nevertheless I barge in to his office which result in him almost turning into his wolf.

Good thing that I remember that just by a touch or sent of your mate will calm you. So I hug him hurriedly to clam him.

When his eyes return to its normal color, I released him. We were standing in front of each other and stared.

He was the first to break away from our staring contest.

"If you're going to ask the same question, my answer will still be a no." He said as he returned behind his desk.

"How do you know what I'm going to ask?" I said while tilting my head.

"This discussion has no room for anymore argument. So you better return to your room."

"But I just want to go outside. What's wrong with that?"

"There's many and one of it is your safety."

"I'll bring Lucas and some other warriors." I said because I'm not giving in.

He let out a sigh and after a few moments he spoke again.

"Alright, you can go now."

At first I didn't comprehend what he just said but when I saw Lucas appeared I let out a loud squeal and ran towards him to give him a hug again.

This past few weeks, I have learned that he can be a strict and ruthless alpha but when it comes to his love ones he can be a really big softy and he just don't want to admit it.

Our relationship as mates is still the same. Though he doesn't show his affection towards me to other people, I know that he really cares about me a lot.

One of the reasons that I know why he really cares about me is that he now sleeps at my room every night unlike before and he always kiss my forehead before he leaves my room.

"Luna." Lucas said all of sudden which cause me to stop reminiscing what happened earlier.

"Yes?" I said as I face him.

"We should go back to the pack house." He said.

"But we've only been out here for an hour. I still want to admire the beautiful scenery." I said as I face back to the scenery that I have been admiring for the past hour.

I heave a sigh.

"Well, alright." I said because even if I argue with him I will not win because he is under the alpha command.

We haven't gone a few meters when we heard a twig snap

Lucas was already in a stance to attack, as well as the other warriors with us. Lucas commanded one of the warriors to look it up but before he could reach the place a man emerge behind the tree, which cause the warriors to bow down as well as Lucas.

"Alpha Sky." Lucas said as he bow down.

"Lucas you can now rise, as well as your fellow warriors." He said not glancing my way.

I couldn't see his face because I was standing behind Lucas and the warriors.

"I apologize that I scared you." Alpha Sky said.

"Its fine Alpha Sky. We are escorting our Luna on our way back to the pack house." Lucas explained and make way for me to stand beside him.

"Alpha Sky this is our luna, Luna Liyana." Lucas said and when I finally look at Alpha Sky, I felt that my world just stop moving.

"Liyana?..."Alpha Sky said which pulled me out of my trance, the he engulfed me in a hug.

"I thought that I'll never see you again dear sister..."
