Chapter Five: Damon

I've  been staying here for almost a month but still there are no changes in our relationship though he sleeps with me in this room every two days. Every time I try to touch his face while he is asleep he always wakes up and caught me ogling at his handsome face.

Each day that pass by I develop feelings for him though the only time that i get to see him is when he went to sleep with me or when he checks on me sometimes. He doesn't talk to me but sometimes I feel like he stares at me when I'm asleep in the afternoon then he leaves when I'm about to wake up, I don't know why I know this, call it a sixth sense, but I really don't know.

Right now i just sitting by the window, looking at all the people setting up the backyard for a feast. There must be a celebration. When I was about to return from reading the book that I have abandoned since I've been looking outside, the door to my room opened.

"Luna, Alpha Damon is summoning you to his office." Lucas said.

Luna, he has been calling me that for weeks. At first, I thought that he has mistaken my name, but when I ask why he called me by that name he said that it was an Alpha's order and I'm the Alpha's Mate.

I'm still not use by somebody calling me by that name, even the other call by that name when ever they see me.

"Why does he need me?" I asked him instead.

"I cannot answer your question Luna. I am here to escort you." He said.

"Give me a few minutes. I'll just change my clothes." He nodded and left the room to give me privacy.

After a  few minutes, I heard a knock on my door.

"Luna are you done?" Lucas asked from outside.

"Yes, I'm finished." I opened the door and sure enough Lucas was there standing tall with two more guards with him.

Lucas lead the way to Damon's office and it only took us a couple of minutes. He knocked on the door and Damon answered him to come in. Lucas went inside the office and left with the two guards.

"Alpha I have escorted the Luna as what you have said." i heard him said.

"Very well Lucas let her in I have something to discuss with her." Damon said.

"Yes, Alpha." Lucas emerged from the room and bring me with him back inside the office.

"You have summoned me Alpha Damon. May I know why?" Instead of answering me, he look at Lucas like he is telling him to leave us. 

Lucas leave and we were the only one left in the room.

"Come closer Liyana." I move closer to him till I'm standing in front of his big office table.

He grunted and speak again."Closer Liyana."

I moved towards him till I'm at the corner of the table near him. I look at him asked him once again since he ignored my question.

"Damon." I dared say his name without his title but before I could speak again he grab my wrist and pulled me to his lap. He buried his head into the crook of my neck and inhaled my scent.

"Say it again." He said huskily.

"Damon..." I said again and he even buried his head deeper and hugged me tighter.

We stayed in that position till he calmed himself and removed his head from my neck. He closed his eyes and sighed, he looks like he have and internal battle with himself.

"Damon are you alright?" I asked him, my voice laced with worry. I caressed his face and his breathing slowly returned to normal, then he opened his eyes. Once again I'm lost in his stormy eyes. There's a lot of emotions swimming in his eyes but one is prominent, lust. He hold my hand, the one touching his face and brought it to his lips.

I don't know why he is suddenly being affectionate, but I like this side of him. I feel like its very rare of him to act this way and I'm glad that I get to experience it.

"Damon, why did you asked for my presence?" I dared ask him again.

"I'm going to formally introduce you to the pack and we have visitors coming. I want you to prepare yourself." He said.

"Oh alright. Is there anything else?"

"You will go with my sister for the preparation." and right on cue the door opened and there come in a woman who is a girl version of him but the difference is that she have a bright smile.

"There you are brother! I've been looking for you and is that her?" she pointed at me  but before Damon could answer she came closer to us and pulled me out of Damon's lap and hugged me tightly.

"Oh my god! You're so beautiful! I can't believe you're the mate of my ever emotionless brother!" She said loudly. Isn't she a ball of sunshine but to call her brother like that is a bit rude.

"Sorry, I must be squeezing the life  out of you." she apologize and then release me.

"Its alright. I'm Liyana." I introduced myself.

"Oh! Where are my manners?! My name is Danielle but you could call me Dani and unfortunately that big baboon over there is my twin brother."

When I looked at Damon he looks like he is going to explode any minute and I guess Dani knows it too.

"Come on Liya, we have to go! Bye my lovely twin brother!" After that she dragged me out of Damon's office to I don't know where.
