Chapter Fourteen: Sinister Smile

"Dear, you better wake up now." Somebody said as they tap my face.

I slowly opened my eyes and I was greeted by a face I have only seen for a few times.

She hasn't changed since the last time I saw her. She still have this sinister smile of hers that hunts me every night.

I slowly rose into a sitting position and look at her.

"What are you doing here?" I dared ask her.

"Oh my, my. My dear darling has grown a backbone over the years." She said and then laughed.

My anger slowly rose and she sense it because she stopped laughing.

"You're getting mad aren't you?" She said and smirked at me as she traced my jaw.

"Glad you know." I said and look at her in the eyes.

"No need to be mad at me. You still owe me one darling." She said and stand up, since she was sitting beside me.

She hit a nerve there and I hate it that I owe her one. I was young and naive then I didn't know that she is a vicious woman.

"You seem to be tired young man." A woman suddenly appear in front of me.

I was tired of all the beatings I get from my father and today just have to be the worst. I can barely move with all the fractured bones I acquired not a few moments ago.

He left lying me on the ground in the middle of the forest, where he usually beat me because he doesn't want the pack to know that he is beating his own son, the heir to the alpha.

All that everyone knows is that once we entered the forest, it means that nobody should disturbed us because they thought that I'm training to be the next alpha, but they never knew that it was the other way around.

The woman fell down to her knees and caress my swollen face. It was the first time that someone saw me in this state aside from the girl around my age, who always help me.

The girl, whom I like to call Ana, was always the one who saw me beat up by my father and I don't know why, but just one touch of her fingers to my body heals, then she suddenly left once she knows that I'm fine.

I never get to see her entire face because she always cover it with a thick white veil that match her white knee length dress. She has a porcelain skin and a long straight silvery hair. But before she leave me she always smile at me, which I took as a promise that she will come again.

But at this moment there was no Ana, instead a woman in black dress is in front of me.

"What do you want?" I dared ask to the woman.

"Do not fear me my dear I'm here to help you from your misery." She said and touched my face.

I moved away afraid that she might harm me.

"You shouldn't move dear, or it might get even worst." She said and smiled at me which brings chills to my body.

"What do you want from me? Can't you see I'm helpless." I said.

"I already told you my dear, I'm here to help you finish your misery. Only in a few months your in the right age to take the position and I know you'd been preparing to take on your father." She said like she read my mind.

Well she is right I'm planning to take on my father but still I don't have enough strength to finish him.

"So I'll give you something." Then all of a sudden she kissed me on the lips.

"What was that?!" I asked frantically.

"Just a little blessing dear. It will give you strength to take on your father."

"What---" she touched my lips to stop me.

"Farewell my dear, you will return the favor in the near future, till then..." Then she vanished in thin air.

I was left in the forest shocked and when I look at my body all my wounds were healed like what Ana did to me.

Little did I know darkness will embark in my body.

"I see you went on a trip to memory lane. Glad you still remember our precious time together my dear."

"Would you stop calling me that, it makes me sick."

"Nuh-uh dear, I'm here to collect that favor..."

And that struck me, she's here to collect what she have given me years ago.

"Now dear listen to me, I need you to find that mate of yours and bring her to me." She said but its more of command.

And just a flicked of her finger something has changed within me.

"As you wish." I said and again she showed me her sinister smile.
