Annoyingly In Love

Chapter 1

Riley

I blew air out of my mouth and through the gas mask covering my nose and mouth. I took off the mask while Tim was up front driving the red truck heading to where we "live".
As I completely removed the mask from my mouth, I relaxed in my seat, cleaning the crimson decorations staining the crowbar in my hand.

As soon as I finished, I leaned on the cold window staring at the bright stars that were scattered across the dark blue sky. It seemed so... Familiar. Peaceful as well.

Shrugging the deja vu feeling off, my attention was brought to the one and only, Apollo.

"Hey doll," He chimed, "So, how's it going after Chloe's death eh? Not feeling depressed at all?" I stared down at my hands covered in dry blood.

Sadness overwhelmed me and tears formed in my eyes, sniffling a bit. It took a minute or two for me to reply to Apollo, but I quickly pulled myself together. "Actually... I miss her, a lot..."

The Grey boy's attention slowly grew on me, soon enough he stared at me. Almost immediately my gaze fell upon his annoyed glare.

Rolling his eyes he crossed his arms, "Shut up no one wants to hear you." Toby hissed.

Feeling a little hurt, I gave a dirty look at the boy and brought my attention out the window once again.

Apollo cleared his throat, "Well doll? Cat got your tongue? I wanna hear more about your... Lover's death. Tell me, are you into males or nah?"

Blushing furiously and feeling slightly uncomfortable, I whispered under my breath, just enough for Apollo to hear but not enough for Toby to pester me about it.

"Actually... Some are kind of cute." I smiled and felt like a teenage girl, wanting to giggle.

"We'll talk about this later, Toby's always bullying me about you whenever I talk to you around him." I murmured.

"Alright doll," He sang, "Don't let the cat get'cha tongue."

As soon as we arrived, I immediately recognized the creepy log house. It was big, but not big enough to be called a mansion. I grabbed my stuff and left the truck, stepping on the dead grass.

This place was fairly hard to get to, according to Tim, this forest isn't on any of the maps due to some crazy thing going on. Basically, the forest this giant house is in? Knocked off maps for a long time. Cool history huh? Yeah, not really.

I eyed the spiderwebs decorated around the wood house. I opened the door and was greeted by the infamous boy who was horribly burnt, having his skin turn a crazy light color. How is this possible? Who the hell knows.

Snorting, he greeted me with a head bob as I gazed at his damaged skin. I waddled upstairs, striding on a damaged fancy red rug and to my room.

Everyone else that lived in this place where what you guys refer to as, "Creepypastas." We on the other hand don't have a specific name. We refer to each other by our names, and apparently live here since there's no place to go.

Picking coal colored shorts, a white shirt, and lingerie, I headed to the bathroom for a shower to wash out what was once bright red, now turned into a disgusting brown.

I showered, and of course headed back to my room, only to be annoyingly interrupted by the twitchy boy, bumping into me.

Toby's brown eyes glared at me, with a slight head tilt to match. "Watch where you're going you stupid excuse for a Proxy." He scoffed.

I clenched my teeth and fists tightly, holding myself back from making any snarky remarks.

Toby smirked and noticed how irritated he was making me, "What? Are you gonna cry? Tch."

Rolling my eyes I turned to him, "No actually. I don't wanna waste my time on someone as worthless and annoying as you."

Toby glared at me, noticing his deep hatred for me. "Then why are you even talking to me? Why didn't you die when Chloe did?"

I placed my hand on my hip, "If you don't already know that, then you're actually fairly ignorant and stupid." I smiled.

Toby laughed, "Yeah. Just like you sweetheart." My smile soon faded, and I felt horribly agitated.

"What's your problem dude?" I spoke louder. "Why do you hate me so much?!"

Toby tilted his head, exactly how I had done earlier. "If you don't know that already then you're fairly ignorant and stupid." He smiled.

I gave him one last dirty look and turned away.

I hurried into my room stomping on my way and my clothes into the hamper as soon as I opened the door.

Tears overwhelmed in my eyes, not from feeling hurt or anything. Basically tears of anger. I crawled into bed I plugged in the Ipod I've had for awhile now, shoving white earbuds into my ears, finding myself listening to some of the music to soothe my nerves.

I laid there, staring at the ceiling wall, watching blood drip from it. Moving shadow figures were decorated on the walls, as soon as I turned to stare at them they ran off.

I breathed, feeling nervous. "Someone's out to get me... They're watching, Apollo..."

"Just go to sleep doll, they'll leave in the morning." He comforted.

"But there's blood on the ceiling." I whispered to him. I curled into a ball, waiting for Apollo to reply, which he never actually did. Instead I covered myself with the warm blanket and watched the shadow people run around, feeling my heart aching with every movement they made.

My air soon felt like it was being taken out of my lungs and body began feeling numb. I breathed heavily gripping the blanket.

I shut my eyes tightly and inhaled and exhaled deeply, hoping to catch my breath.

Soon enough I fell into a deep, blissful slumber, followed with an easier time breathing.
