are they really 'just words'?

Imagine finally getting to meet R5, your favourite band in the whole world. You were getting so excited about meeting your idols and being able to tell them how much you love them. As you arrive at the venue you queue up for the meet and greet. You see Courtney and Vanni walk past and feel sick in your stomach. You didn't like them. You couldn't stand them. You had said so many hurtful rude things about them on R5's, their own and your own accounts expressing how much you don't like them. You finally get to the front of the meet and greet queue and you see your idols. You walk up to them and hug them each individually, unable to contain your excitement. But you look at all of their faces and not one of them, not even Rydel is smiling. "Why aren't you smiling?" You ask out of curiousity, your heart hurting at your favourite band's sadness. "Because of you." Rocky says, slipping his hands into his pockets and looking down at the ground. "All of the hate messages about and to our girlfriends." Riker explained further, looking into your eyes. You looked down slightly and pulled your sleeves over your hands in shame. "That's right, we've seen and read all the messages. Maybe we don't reply but that doesn't mean they aren't there." Ellington explained. You could see the hurt in Rydel's eyes. "You don't have to like everyone but making those people feel bad isn't a nice thing at all. Surely you should be happy that your idols have found love." You looked towards Ross and saw tears falling down his cheeks. Your whole world was standing in front of you crying his eyes out. He wiped the tears from his cheeks. "I believe in forgiveness." He began. "But words hurt and once you say something it's out there. You can't always take it back." ///

How much would it hurt if this happened to you when you know that you've been hating on them? I'm not accusing anyone of anything but think before you speak or spread hurtful messages. After all, your idols could be reading every word...

I'm not accusing anyone of these things by the way I'm just trying to spread this as a new way of approaching the people that create the drama. It's not "R5 family" anymore and something needs to be done about it.
