Bunks.

It was two in the morning. The band had just played a show in LA and in the morning they were going to head towards Sacramento. They were halfway through the tour and every second of it was absolutely amazing. They were literally living their dream, together.

Snoring filled the air of the tour bus, drifting up from Rocky's bunk. They had all gone to be about an hour ago, deciding that they needed to catch up on sleep instead of partying otherwise they wouldn't keep up with the rest of their tour. Everyone was asleep.

Well, everyone except Rydel.

Rydel lay staring up at the ceiling of her bunk, buried under layers of blankets. She had fallen asleep as soon as she got into her bunk and woken up ten minutes later after a bad dream and now everytime she closer her eyes, the memories of the dream came back and she had to open them again. She was always the first person asleep and it felt weird to be awake when everyone else was sleeping. With an empty feeling inside, she pulled back the privacy curtain on her bunk and peered out.

On the other side of the curtain, Rocky's snoring was louder and she could vaguely hear Ross above her, sleep talking in his dreams. She could see the curtain on the bunk opposite hers slightly ajar and inside it, the small reading light was on.

She slid out of her bunk, pulling the sleeves of her sweater over her hands and walking across the small hall bit to the bunk with the light. It was her boyfriend, Ellington's, bunk.

"Ellington." She whispered, standing quietly and listening out for a reply. Apart from the pause of snoring as rocky rolled over in his bunk, she didn't get a reply.

"Ellington." She whispered again, pulling the curtain black slightly to reveal his sleeping face that was buried in his pillow, his body snuggled deep under his blanket.

She shook his gently, her hands still hidden within her sleeves. His eyes fluttered open and he looked up at her, a sleepy expression plastered on his face.

"Rydel...everything okay?" he asked softly, propping himself up on one of his elbows and rubbing his eyes still half asleep.

"I-i had a bad dream and... I can't sleep. I know it sounds stupid but i've been lying there over an hour and I don't know what else to do.." She trailed off, her eyes fixed on the floor.

"Hey, im sorry you had a bad dream. Is it anything you want to talk about?" He questioned, reaching out and grabbing one of her hands. He rubbed his thumb over the top of her hand reassuringly.

A small smile appeared on her face as she shook her head. "I don't really want to talk."

He nodded scooting over in this bunk towards the far wall, making room for her to climb in next to him. without hesitation, she climbed in, snuggling down by his side and allowing him to cover her with the blanket. She lay on her side, looking at him as he repositioned himself until he was comfortable.

"Goodnight beautiful." He whispered, wrapping his arm around her.

She rested her head on his chest, snuggling her body into him. "Goodnight handsome."

On that note, they both drifted off into sleep.
