Am I in love with you? Or am I in love with the feeling?
+++
Being a Runner with your number one nemesis is the most annoying thing in the Glade.
Like you're stuck with them for a half day and all you can do nothing about it other than to get your job done.
But, it's more annoying when your number one nemesis is the shucking Keeper of the Runners.
That, it's really annoying.
There are times that I wanna slap his face off because of his attitude but all I can do is to follow all his orders since he's the Keeper of the Runners.
Keeper of the Runners.
Duh.
More like the Keeper of all the shucking klunk in the Glade.
Ugh, whatever.
"Shuck face! Get your ass up, we gotta go!" The Keeper of all the shucking klunk in the Glade greeted me in the morning.
I mean, Minho.
"Shuck it! I don't want to run with you again!" I said, covering my face with the blanket.
"The feeling is mutual, Greenie." he replied.
"Then go ahead, run without me. It would have been so much better running on my own than running with the most annoying person in the Glade." I said, burying my face in the pillows.
"You can't even remember a single section without me."
"Trust me, I can. Just not with you." I groaned. "Ugh! Can you just leave? I'm so ughhh!"
"Whatever, don't go kneeling on me when Alby punished you for not working today." he said, leaving.
"Finally..." I muttered under the sheets.
I peeked out to see Minho walking out, then towards the Maze, but then he stopped to talk to Alby, then they both look at me.
Oh shuck. That shucking slinthead.
I quickly got up, grabbed all the things I need then ran towards the bathroom to take a quick bath.
I didn't even wait for Alby to scold me about being lazy. I mean Alby's been scolding me so many times because of that shucking slinthead Minho. Well, I do the same to him.
Fair play, isn't it?
After showering, I hastily put on my clothes and everything I need. When I got outside, I saw Minho leaning against the Maze doors with his arms crossed.
"Dammit, you better thank the Gods above I stood here waiting for you the whole time." he said.
"I'm supposed to say 'thank you?'" I said.
He raised his eyebrow and tilted his head, waiting for my 'thank you'.
I rolled my eyes, "I'd rather run on my own." I said and started to run.
"Running with you makes my day worse, you know that?" Minho said, catching up beside me.
"Oh, trust me, Minho, the feeling is mutual." I said, repeating his earlier words.

We're almost done running when I decided to run full speed so that I can already leave Minho behind.
