It was night time already and I still haven't seen Minho.
Well, I saw him came out of the Maze earlier and that's it. He didn't even look for me or anything.
"Hey Alby, have you seen Minho?" I asked the boy, who's eating his dinner along with the others.
"I saw him walking into the woods, in the Map Room, maybe." he replied.
"Map Room? Don't you think it's too late today to map the maze?" I asked, curious.
Whenever Minho maps a section in the Maze, he's always the first one to finish it up.
"I don't know. You know that boy, always wanting to find a way out. Solving the Maze." Alby said, then came back for his food again.
"Oh okay, thanks, Alby." I said.
I walked away and started heading to the Map Room. It was already dark and I can hear the crickets around me.
While walking, I saw the Map Room in the distance, its light shining from inside.
I walked faster until I reached the door, I stopped first and listened on what's going on inside.
I heard someone sighed, then breathed heavily. Papers trashing. Then he hit the wall.
That's when I came barging in. There he was. Minho. Leaning against the wall. Sweaty and looking stressed.
"Minho?" I said.
My eyes wander around to see the maps on the floor, some on the table. Crumpled papers on the ground. Until I saw a glass of Gally's recipe in the table.
"Are you drunk?" I asked him seriously.
"I'm not." Minho said, walking over the table and taking a sip from the bottle.
I walked over to him and took the bottle from his hands. "Stop that."
I placed the bottle on the table again and held both of Minho's hands.
"What wrong?" I asked.
Minho sneered. "What's wrong?" He released his hands from mine and threw his hands on the air. "Everything's wrong, Y/N!"
He turned his back and ran a hand through his hair.
"We can't find a way out." He quietly said. "WE'RE TRAPPED IN HERE."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"THERE'S NO WAY OUT, Y/N. I KNEW IT. THERE'S NO WAY OUT IN THE MAZE." Minho shouted.
"Why would you say that?" I said. "Don't give up, Minho! We're going to get out of here, I promise." I said.
He turned to me, his eyes bloodshot. "Easy for you to say, huh?"
"I know we're going to get out of here." I said.
"How do you know, Y/N?" Minho asked, walking towards me.
"Because I have hope and faith." I replied.
Minho sneered turned his back again, "That shucking hope and faith."
"Why are you giving up so easily?!" I said, my tone rising. "Minho, you're the one who always tell me before to not give up! Look at what you're doing now, giving up!"
