Transferring to a campus high school might be the best thing that has happened to me. I eventually made a lot friends here which is really unexpected because I thought I would be that awkward teenager.
I guess you can say that my high school is just like the others you see in the movies— big campus, lots of groups, and those cliché love stories.
And just like I said, lots of group means:
The Hot Ones. Those girls who always wear crop tops and short shorts. Their make up so thick that can't see their natural beauty anymore. You can see them randomly making out with a hot guy in the hallways.
The Crazy Ones. The group of people planning lots of pranks and never get caught. You can see them laughing their ass off while hiding in the locker room.
The Nerds. The students who did nothing but to study. You can't talk to them unless it's about the lesson, or either they wouldn't stop talking, there's no in between. In our free periods, they always sat outside the school with a book on their hands.
The Normal Ones. Which is us. Teresa, Brenda, Newt, Thomas and the others. We study whenever exams are coming, and party when the hell week is over.
And the last one, the Bad Boys. Those guys who wear black shirts and leather jacket everyday. Randomly fuck every girl they think is hot and doesn't give a fuck. Usually with the hot ones.
And speaking of bad guys, here they are....
I was putting my books back on my locker when a bunch of guys exited the Chemistry lab.
I can't help but to look at them and study their faces. If this was a movie, this was the slo-mo part.
While I was staring at them, one particular guy caught my eye. Asian guy with a styled black hair and dark eyes. He was staring at me with a smirk plastered across his face.
The second I realized that, I quickly moved my gaze away from him and look at my locker, realizing how stupid I was for even just looking at them.
When they walked past me, I take a look at the guy again to see him still looking at me, when he caught me looking at him, he winked at me and then proceeded to walk again.
His sudden response surprised me. Well, I know, they're bad guys, they do that, but hell no, not me. Those won't make me fall for them. I'm smarter than that.
I closed my locker then walked towards the cafeteria, good thing it's our lunch break right now so I can see my friends again.
+++
This lunch break is just the usual one. Eat, talk, eat, and talk again. Every lunch break, of course, I sit with my best friends, you know, the Normal Ones.
"Y/N, did I ever tell you I hate Math?" Teresa asked, who is sitting in front of me, eating her tacos.
"Yeah, like a hundred times already." I laughed.
"Well, we all hate Math, Teresa." Brenda replied, putting his elbows on the table and playing with her food.
I was already done eating so there's not much to do right now.
