Furnin guided Luina back to his room walked right through the front door luckily no one was present.

"Was that your idea of 'sneaking' me in." Luina asked as they entered his room.

Furnin replies with a smirk, "To be honest if anyone did question us I was gonna tell them it was scribe business."

Luina looked hesitantly and said, "and they'd believe that?"

Furnin said. " well the master scribe is sending me on an important mission. And I haven't been known to lie in the past so...yeah probably."

Luina did not look convinced but decided to let it go, "so where am I sleeping?" She asked

Furnin replied, "you can have the bed I'm probably going to stay up researching what...well something important." He decided that it wasn't best to tell her he was going to go research a fairy tale about an ethereal realm.

"Really? Your just gonna give me the bed?" Luina said surprised.

Furnin rubbed his lower back as if remembering something painful and replied, " yeah. I've slept on worse places than wooden floor before."

Luina was curious as to just what Furnin meant by that but Furnin left before she could ask.

Furnin's last thing on his to do list for the day was researching the so called ethereal realm. Since the book store was already closed Furnin decided that the academy library would be the best bet in finding any information regarding this 'ethereal realm'.

Winters chill is starting to set in now that falls beginning to end. Furnin pulls over his hood on his jacket he just grabbed from his room. The academy robe underneath is the only thing he's worn constantly since he was admitted to the academy. He has about 5 replacements put up in his room. It's dark now as Furnin heads towards the academy that's just a block away, the streets are desolate abandoned by the crowds that usually fill them during the day, Aside from a few academy students heading home from long frustrating hours of study and research.

Furnin entered the library and was greeted by a fellow classmate, "hello Furnin doing some late night research again? I heard a rumor that you beat up lady Durna is that true? No don't answer that. Best let rumors lie," He wore a smirk and then turned to the book in his hand it read the history of the Gurdonus family.

'My god,' Furnin thought, 'She's gonna kill me if anyone says anything and she finds out it got out that I defeated her single handedly.'

He decided that it was probably best to focus on researching the ethereal realm. After searching for a little over a few hours Furnin came across a book labeled the realm of the ether. Furnin immediately noticed it was in an ancient elvish text, luckily that was something that Furnin had taking as a hobby learning last semester. After much deliberating and frustrating decyfering, Furnin learned that according to this particular text that ether exists everywhere and hints that sometimes the 'spirit' or 'soul' does not wind up going to the places mentioned in religions but instead heads to another place a realm where ether is concentrated and exists on an in between realm. The ethereal realm.

Furnin began to read something about the possibility of using ether and ether itself physically coming into this realm in strange ways. Like a ghost or entity or curse. This made Furnin curious, it also made him understand why superstitious people would avoid anything nearly related to such a thing.

Furnin rubbed his eyes, it had been at least 5 hours of decyfering and translating and Furnin was tired beyond imagining. "Heh, " Furnin chuckled, " I haven't been this tired since I helped Suna last semester with finals." He smiled then decided to head back to his room.

On the way back Furnin noticed the usual night time weirdness. The occasional domestic dog barking as well as drunkards from the inn clumsily making thier way home. Some thieves lurking nearby that knew better though than to cause trouble on the main roads due to guard patrols.

Furnin entered his room and in his sleepy haze had forgotten that he had a visitor in his room. He was shocked to see Luina sprawled out wildly entangled in his bed wrapped up in the blanket.

'She's a strange sleeper, she looks kinda beautiful like that though.' Furnin thought to himself as a smirk crossed his face.

Furnin grabbed some clothes he's never worn and placed them in a line across the floor making a place for him to sleep on the opposite end of the room.

"Man, " Furnin whispered aloud, "what a day."
He proceeded to lay down on the makeshift bed of clothes. The last thought before sleep took him was of the ethereal realm. If it's real that means a possible danger lurks at the baroness Chordan's estate and he'd better be prepared for that unknown.
