New task hunting Goblins

The four of them spread out helping the villagers and asking if any of them knew the whereabouts of the band of goblins responsible for all of the destruction.

After aiding all the villagers and getting them all to safety, a young man approaches Furnin from the group of villagers.

The young man says, "I know where the goblins went. "

Furnin looks into the man's eyes and sees the hatred and rage in him. He already knows this man is not going to stay behind. Furnin unfastens his sword and throws it at him. The guy catches it looking puzzled .

Furnin mounts his horse, the other three do the same and Furnin tells the man, "lead the way. "

The man says, "ok. " he then mounts a horse from a broken stable nearby and the head out east on the Xorv Road.

After a few hours Furnin rides alongside the man and says, "so what's your name? "

The man says, "the name is Julno, Julno Garlum. "

Furnin nods and says, "nice to meet you Julno. My name is Furnin. They are Suna, Dorfam, and Fuea. "

In an awkward manner he waves at them and says, "hello. So what brings you up north Furnin? "

Furnin replies, "a mission that would grant me battlescribe status. "

Julno says, "a group of scribes?!?! What? "

Furnin says, "actually soon to be scribes, and two mercenaries. "

Julno nods and says, "ok, ok. So why are you coming with me to deal with the goblins? "

Furnin moves his neck to one side popping it and says, "well any creature that kills and causes such mayhem needs to be stopped. It's as simple as that. "

Suna says under her breath, "oh Furnin."

Julno says, "agreed. They will pay for killing my parents. " he clinches his grip on the hilt of the sword furnin handed him.

After a while Furnin says, "I understand your rage but be sure not to give in to reckless abandon. Keep your wits about you in your blood seeking. "

Julno looks at Furnin who's eyes look like fire but is completely composed.

Dusk approaches and the group stops by a small clearing by the road.

After making camp Suna approaches Furnin and embraces him.

He returns a warm smile and a kiss on her forehead.

Julno sees this and looks bothered by it if only slightly.

Dorfam says to Fuea as they stand out of earshot of the others, "You know, you are the first woman to try to convince me of another way to live with such force. "

Fuea says smirking, "well, you are so stubborn. I didn't think anything else would have gotten through. Even if I didn't mean to go so far as to deck you. "

Dorfam smiles and says, "well I'm glad you did. Because you may have shook something in my thick skull. " he motions as if he's knocking on his head.

Fuea says puzzled, "what do you mean? "

Dorfam actually looks vulnerable for a moment which didn't fit his somewhat stern and boisterous face.

Fuea says before Dorfam can speak, "oh. I see... " she nudges his shoulder and says, "stupid. Took you long enough. "

Dorfam says, "well this is a bit awkward for me. "

Fuea turns towards him and comes close. She's a few inches from him and says, "then don't make it so awkward you fool. "

Dorfam puts his arms around the slim Fuea and kisses her.

Julno looks around at all of the romancing around and feels like a third wheel.

After Furnin and Suna finish kissing Furnin says, "I love you Suna, always have. "

Suna smiles and says, "I love you too Furnin. "

Furnin and Suna lay beside each other and Furnin takes first watch. Suna laying right by him. Julno goes to sleep. Dorfam and fuea sleep beside each other.

Furnin takes out the book of ancient elfish and continues decyfering the texts.

As he's decyfering he notices how adorable Suna looks sleeping. She's even muttering something in a cute sleepy voice.

Furnin wipes his eyes and suna wakes up. She says, "hey, let's switch out. "

Furnin writes down the last line of the decyfered page and says as he yawns, "ok, sure. You are cute while you sleep by the way. "

Suna says as Furnin drifts into sleep, "so are you."

Morning comes and Julno is the first up. He fetched some water for the horses and it wasn't long before the group was traveling again.

As they traveled Furnin contemplated a troubling piece of the runic language he decyfered about said beings of pure energy.

Julno interrupts Furnin's thoughts, "what are you thinking about so hard. "

Furnin replies, "some troubling superstitious warnings from a myth that was mentioned to me by a worried father. "

Julno says, "hmm, sounds complex and cryptic. You sure you are up to defeating this band of goblins? "

Furnin says, "no need to worry, my focus is not falling, I'm just making sure I'm not leading the 4 of us to our deaths is all after we get to our original destination. "

Julno says, "ah I see. So how long have you and that girl, Suna is it? Been together? "

Furnin looks at Julno and says, "why do you want to know? "

Julno says, "I'm just curious. Being nosy I guess. "

After a few more hours Julno halts quickly

Furnin and the others stop as well.
