Chapter 23

Hey guys!

I hope you're enjoying the story so far and I apologise in advance if it has gotten weird over the past chapters. Also, I'll be resuming my third story "Two Lives, One Bond" once I have all my ideas readied and passable for the plot so watch out for it!

However, I've been thinking of a new story to maybe add more of your interest but then I turned the idea down as I figured this story and "Two Lives, One Bond" may take a long while before it reached their epilogue so I'll put my focus on these two before I decide of putting up any new story.

Anyway, let's get on with the story and enjoy!

"NO WAY!!" The ever familiar yell of one Uzumaki Naruto echoes the tower, his eyes transfixed to Tsunade and the troubled looking Uchiha brothers "THEY CAN'T GO BACK!?"

"Like I said, Naruto.... Akatsuki has Tsukikagure surrounded...." Tsunade repeats once more "Not even their fellow comrades can go against 5 S-rank criminals with only few years of professional experience...."

"Then what about Midori-san!? Isn't she born Hikari!?" Naruto shouts

"We can't allow her birth rights to be exposed, nor will her father- the Hikarikage will let her face off criminals who needs a shinobi whose born Hikari...." Tsunade replies sharply "The Akatsuki has us cornered right now..... What is the Tsukikage planning right now remains unknown.... Until we know if Akatsuki doesn't attack at the moment, we can only keep Kianza safe within this village with the best of our abilities...."

"Then I'll face the-"

"Don't even think of that, Naruto...." Kianza cuts in "Despite their main difficult priority is to capture one born with Hikari blood, it doesn't change their other priority of capturing the remaining Bijuu for their main plan...."

"Which is why we wait for the Tsukikage's answer and prepare for any unexpected attacks...." Tsunade continues "As we speak, I've tightened security around th village walls and-"

"I'm afraid that will not happen at all, Tsunade...."

The said blondes' insides freeze at the voice as Sasuke became confused where else Kianza only narrows his eyes deeply, watching the owner of the voice walk in alongside the other two elders. A smirk plastered on the aging face of Danzou, causing disgust to increase within Kianza who kept his expression well controlled.

"Elders-sama...." Kianza bows formally with Sasuke following suite before meeting the 3 pairs "Has news reached to you faster than expected?"

"Quit your pretending, Uchiha! We know the truth behind it!" Danzou snaps proudly before glaring at the enraged Tsunade "You will not do anything of a sort as the decision has been decided..."

"Who approved that without my permission!!" Tsunade shouts angrily "I'm the representing Hokage here until Sarutobi-sensei returns-"

"We see that you've failed your part as the representing Hokage! Therefore, we took matters in our hands and the Lord of Fire has agreed to it!" The smirk widens at Tsunade's increasing rage but in defeat "You will not be involved in it or we have all rights to strip you of your position...."

"HOW DARE YOU, YOU OLD FART!!!" Naruto yells angrily "KIANZA LITERALLY HELPED KONOHA FOR YEARS SINCE HE WAS A KID! HE SAVED YOU ASSES-"

"STAND DOWN THIS INSTANT, UZUMAKI NARUTO!"
