Chapter 25

Hey guys!

         I've been working hard to make progress in both stories as of now. I can't guarantee weekly updates because I have other things to handle despite having to be free until mid year when I start college. So I will update the chapters as soon as possible with every chance of free time.

    Also just to put up a reminder (Though it isn't really necessary), my story "Papa..." has been completed since last month so feel free to read it's complete content and don't bother about the announcements there cause they aren't part of the story (Obviously....)

       12 hours had passed since Akatsuki attacked Konohakagure with victory in Konoha's side. Though the village of generations had been completed destroyed within the walls (The event where Naruto battles with Pein took place as its setting and Jiraiya is still alive in this story), the citizens and shinobis could feel nothing but joy for their victory and new found hero, Uzumaki Naruto.

       However, they too are also in a struggle with Tsunade now fallen in coma and their original Sandaime yet to return despite the news of the attack reached the Lord of Fire's estate. Jiraiya, who returned immediately from his mission in investigating the remaining Akatsuki's next motive, declined the position as the 6th Hokage. With that needing to be resolved, the village decided to focus on rebuilding their home instead and leave the higher authorities to handle it.

        The Uchiha brothers and Natsu on the other hand, returned to Tsukikagure the very next hour with the mysterious man who revealed himself to be Kianza's cousin from Hikarikagure by the name Kage Kideru. What made them return to Tsukikagure when there were sightings of Akatsuki swarming the village was answered with 2 bodies of the remaining Akatsuki members to the public eye. All those surrounded were defeated by the Tsukikage herself either dead or drained of chakra.

       With the price of comatose due to over exerting her own chakra carelessly in defeating them.

2 days after the Akatsuki attack....

"Old Man Teuchi, another miso ramen for me!!!"

"Ho! Coming right up, Naruto!"

"Uwaaa.... I'm so proud of you, Naruto...." Ayase said happily with a smile, causing the said blonde to pause in his eating to look at her "Everyone is so happy that you saved all of us and stopped Akatsuki.... You're Konoha's hero now!"

"Nah, it's nothing much...." Naruto chuckles playfully, flashing his signature grin "It was tough, but he's no match for me eh!"

"Baka!"

"Itai!!! Ah! S-Sakura-chan...."

"Honestly, you baka.... You could have been captured had not Hinata came to your rescue!"

"Ehehehe..... Gomen. Gomen...." Naruto smiles sheepishly "By the way, how is Hinata and Baa-chan?"

"Hinata is making a full recovery in a few days...." Sakura smiles lightly before it fell completely with sad eyes ".... Tsunade-sama.... Hasn't make any progress of waking up at all.... She has fallen into coma as we suspected...."

"But she will wake up soon, right??" Sakura's heart pang with hurt at the hope filled sky blues

"... I don't know, Naruto...." Her eyes turn away slowly, looking up to the clear sky ".... Overusing her chakra will take her time to replenish it back.... But in her current state, we don't know how serious it has become.... We can only wait for her to wake up.... She may wake up soon.... Or.... Never will wake up...."
