Six Years Later- Office of Navel Intelligence Medical Facility, Orbit of Planet Reach 2525 1130 Hours ~Dr. Halsey P.O.V.~

"How many dead Déjà?" I asked looking at the computer screen. There was a ton of flashing red. Meaning...dead kids. Meaning their bodies weren't strong enough for the chemicals.

Déjà responded. "25% doctor."

25% of my subjects? I sighed. "25% of the children..." it was sad and disappointing, to know that.

I pulled up some of the kids, looked at John. His vitals are normal. Than pulled up Jake's. His heart rate is going up, her heart beat went faster. Getting nervous. Than went to back to normal. I sighed with relief.

"Déjà can you tell Chief Mendez about the...losses?" I ordered.

"Yes of course doctor." She responded.

When she left it had me think in my thoughts. 25%? How could this happen? Now? At least they should've died in an valiant battle. Against these Insurrectionist bastards!

I pinched the bridge if my nose. Getting irritated. I need to get over it, things happen for a reason. Even if one child makes it out, he or she can make the whole war change for the better. Even better than I could.

I looked down at the corner of the screen and saw that Chief Mendez picture showed up. She pressed it. "Yes?"

"How could this happen?" he asked.

"Mendez, it's cause their bodies can't take it." I explained looking at the flashing red tiny screens of the children.

"This is just the beginning isn't it?" he asked.

"Yes, this than soon enough Project MJOLNIRs." I stated.

There was silence. "There's a problem with that doctor."

"Problem? Explain." I put the curious and the worried in my voice.

He sighed. "We can't discuss it like this meet me in 20 minutes."

"Of course. Goodbye." She hung up before he could say anything.

What could it be this time? What did the Insurrectionists do? I got up from the chair and walked to the window that overlooked the children...the subjects.

They were all laying down either getting patched up or wheeled away because they were passed on. My computer beeped and I rushed to it. The screen went flashing red, I gasped. It was Toria. Her vitals are so low!

That's when I looked out the window and saw the scientist hurriedly fix the problem. I looked back at the computer, her vitals went back normal.

I sighed again. That wouldn't be good to loose another. It would change to 26% of loses. We can't have that be dropped down any longer.

I went to the contacts to one of the scientists. It rang than I saw the woman's face. "Yes doctor?"

"I will be leaving for a couple of hours possibly. It depends how long this meeting this would be with Chief Mendez. After that we will give a report to ONI. So you are in charge of the subjects while I am gone."

She looked shocked. "Yes of course doctor."

"And please don't let anymore of them die. We can't loose that much anymore." I made it sound like an order.

She nodded. "Of course."

I nodded my head back. "Thank you. Goodbye." I hung up before she could answer back.

I always do that just cause I think it's a waste to hear goodbye from them. It takes to much time. And time isn't with her so I do it. I logged out of the computer and grabbed my lab coat putting around my body.

I fixed my hair walking out of my office. I looked back at the window than frowned. "May God help us all." I whispered shutting the door behind me.
