Chapter 8: Corey, Corey, Corey

Corey, Corey, Corey was all I could think about. I can't stop thinking about the way he held me last night. I needed to see him. I called him,
"Corey? Hi how are you?"
"Sabrina? What do you need. Anything, I'll do it." Omg! He's so sweet.
"I really want to see you. Like now?"
"Ok, I'll be straight over." He hung up.

The first knock on the door, I answered.
"Corey!" I hugged him.
"Hey you!" He looked at me,
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm great. Now that your here." He took me in his arms and stroked my face. We leaned in. Our lips touched lightly. He backed away.
"You ok?" I asked.
"Did you break up with Peyton?"
"Yes, of course." He nodded towards the door.

"Peyton!" I screamed.
"Hey babe, what are you doing?"
"I'm not your babe. I broke up with you last night. Remember?"
"I didn't think you broke up with me so you could be with Corey!" he seemed frustrated.
"Well I didn't know that I made the wrong choice about dating you!" I could feel myself tearing up.
"You know what! Whatever! I'm glad you broke up with me! I would have hated myself for dating such a jerk!" He walked out the door and slammed it.

I sat, crying. Corey was speechless. After a while, he came over and sat next to me. He put his arm around me and pulled me close. I put my head on his shoulder and cried,
"What just happened?"
"He'll get over it. Trust me." I looked up at him.
"Why are you so supportive?"
He kissed me.
