Chapter 10: first date

Ahh! Yay! Today is me and Corey's first date! I can't wait! I call Row,
"Hey Rowboat!" I say.
"Sabby!" she replies, "What's up?"
"Tonight is me and Corey's first date! I can't wait!"
"Awww, you two are sooo adorable! Do you know where you're going?"
"No, but he said that he wants me to be surprised. He says just to trust him."
"Aww, what time is he picking u up?"
"11, ahh I can't wait!"
"Um Sabby?"
"Yeah?"
"It's 10:45, you're ready, right?"
I look at the clock. O my word!
"Um," I laugh, "Gotta go!" Right before I hang up, I hear Rowan laugh.

15 minutes later, I hear the doorbell. It's Corey! I throw on my shirt and run downstairs to answer the door.
"Hey!" I gasp.
"Ready?"
"Yep!"
"K, let's go." We link arms. Ahh! So cute! After we've been walking for like hours, we arrive at a karaoke place. Aw, he knows me so well.

We go into the karaoke place.
"You like it?" He seems nervous.
"No." I say sarcastically, "I LOVE it!"
"Phew, you scared me!" He sighed.
We face each other. I smile which makes him smile. I love him, I'd die for him! Calm down Sabrina! LOL, silly me! Corey leans in to kiss me,
"Hey guys! We didn't know you would be here!" It's Peyton. Why now, me and Corey were busy! Oh well.
"What do you mean we?" Corey asks. Just then Rowan comes and stands by his side.
"Rowan!" I say, half-heartedly.
"Hey you two!" Rowan grins. I know what she's thinking,
"What about you two?" I smile, "You guys here as just friends?" Ha, this is fun. Of course they're just friends. But Rowan and Peyton hesitate,
"Um, yeah, duh, we're definitely not dating." Peyton laughs.
"Yeah," Rowan agrees, "That be weird." I know she's lying. Whatever.

When me and Corey are alone again, we talk for a long time. It's 5 o'clock. That means we both gotta go home for sup'. Ugh! Why's time gotta go so fast?

When I get home, I think about the way Peyton and Rowan responded. Huh, weird.
