Chapter 19: Nervous

*Still Rowan's P.O.V*

I dragged Sabby out of the room.
"What the heck? I was still talking to Peyton!"
"Sorry, I just needed to tell you what Corey said. But, you need to promise you won't flip out." I was so excited, obviously.
"Oh no. Oh no. No. No. No. This is not good. I put my heart into him. I told him I loved him. He said it back. I trusted him. How could I have been so stupid-" My eyes widened,
"....he said he thinks you could be the one." I relaxed when I saw her smile. She was blushing so hard. Aww, those two are so cute!

Sabrina's P.O.V

"What?! Aww, that's so sweet! I think he could be the one too....wait. Oh no, this can NOT be happening. I'm done." Rowan looked confused,
"What do you mean? I thought this is what you wanted. He really loves you. He meant it! Isn't this what you wanted?" Of course it's what I wanted. But...
"What if I end up not liking him. I mean, I'm 17 years old. How do I even know what love is? How does he know what love is? What if I end up not liking him and break his heart? What if he breaks mine?" I was expected Rowan to calm me down and give me a pep-talk. Instead she started laughing,
"Why-why are you laughing?"
"I just think it's funny. You're worrying about the 'what ifs'. You're afraid to hurt him. You're afraid to get hurt. You're scared."
"I'm nervous. I don't wanna get hurt. What if-"
"Stop! You truly care about him and I had my talk with him. He cares about you too. You need to calm down. None of those things will happen." She patted my knee. I thought about it and smiled,
"You're right."
"I know." Rowan laughed. Which then made me laugh. I love her. I just hope she really is right.
