Chapter 16: Tears

The next day I woke up to a body next to mine. I was startled,
"Ahh! What the-" He sat up. "Corey?" What was he doing here?
"Hey Sabrina, morning babe," I blushed. "Sorry I didn't wake you, you just looked so cute curled up, sleeping. I was so tired last night and saw your house and figured it be okay if I slept here for the night. Was that okay?" He looked nervous.
"Yeah sure Corey, but why couldn't go to your house?" I stroked his hair. He looked away. From the side, he looked like he was crying. I turned him to face me. Yep, I was right. Tears were streaming down his face.
"Baby..." I whispered. I could sense tears now forming in my eyes. I pulled him against my chest. We sat there for a while, crying. Hugging. I kissed his forehead.
"Baby what's wrong?" I comforted.
"It's....it's....nothing" He looked ashamed. I knew for a fact he was lying. Anybody would know he's lying. I looked at him.

Corey's P.O.V

I don't want to tell her. I don't want to make her feel bad. Why should I put pressure on her. This is what I was afraid of. But I had no choice. I had to tell her. I couldn't lie to her. Here she was with her caring blue eyes. She seemed deeply worried, and I knew she was trying to stay calm.
"Baby?" She whimpered. She was trying so hard to keep calm. Right then and there, I knew she deeply cared about me. I knew that she truly did love me. I couldn't help but smile. I loved her too. I really did. I was making it worse with this anticipation. I felt sorry,
"It's not that big of a deal. Really, it isn't."
"Tell me. You can trust me." She smiled. I could tell it was fake. "Why couldn't you go to your house? Baby, please." She was perfect. She was practically begging me to tell her. I don't know why, but I laughed. I laughed and I cried. And I told her everything.
