Chapter 27: Fights and Kisses

The next day, me and Corey went to Row's house together, to see what had happened to Peyton. Even though they had broken up, they were still inseparable friends.
"Hey."
"Hey Row." We sat on her couch.
"So...you two wanna know about Pey huh..." We nodded. She looked nervous,
"Well....he's still at the hospital. His nose and left leg is broken." Corey turned away. I knew he was crying. I leaned on him. He sniffed,
"I feel so horrible. I might puke."
"Oh Corey. It's okay. He said he understood why you did it and he probably would've done the same. You don't have to be upset with yourself." Rowan tried to comfort him, "I kinda thought it was cute myself." I squinted at her. She better stop there. But, what he did was pretty cute.
"No, I'm a terrible person." I hugged him,
"Babe, you are not. Don't say that." I thought it was cute how he only cried in front of me and turned away from everyone else. My boyfriend was so sensitive. I loved him. Just then, Rowan grabbed Corey's hand, then smiled at me. I had to glare at her. What was she doing? This was not happening.
"Well, thanks for telling us about Peyton. You can keep updating me please. Just me." I growled, dragging Corey out of her house. Rowan glared at me when she shut the door. I smiled.

"What happened? Why did we leave so suddenly?" Corey said. Didn't he notice?
"Row grabbed your hand. Didn't you notice?"
"No..."
"How could you not notice?! She grabbed your hand!"
"I....don't....know." He looked down.
"Corey? What's wrong?"
"I hit my best friend! I punched him and broke his nose and his left leg! I don't know Sabrina! What do you think?!" I held my breath. He didn't say he was sorry, like he usually did. Instead, he stormed off.

The next day...

Corey hasn't answered my texts. I called at least 10 times and not once did he answer. I was at the set, waiting for Corey. I needed to talk to him.
"Hey Sabby. I'm really sorry about what happened last night. I don't know what happened. I guess my feelings for him just took over. I'll try not to let it happened ever again. Ever ever.
"It's okay. As long as you try to fix it. He is my boyfriend. For now..." Row looked confused,
"What?! Brini, what happened?!"
"We had a fight last night. He is really upset and he's gotten tangled up in the whole thing with Peyton. He hasn't been getting back to me." We hugged,
"I'm so sorry. This is my fault."
"What?! It is not. Don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault. It's nobody's fault."

Corey still hasn't showed up. They sent us home for the day since no one was there. I decided to go to Rowan's house since we haven't hung out in a while. We talked for a long time and then turned on a movie and Row practically fell asleep the whole time. I was tired too, but couldn't go to sleep not sure of how Corey was doing.

The next day, Corey still never showed up, so we had a 'cast' day with everyone but Core. Peyton was back too, with crutches, but he was here. As soon as he saw me, he wobbled over.
"Sabrina! I wanted to talk to you about what happened. Look. I didn't do it on purpose. I swear. I would've never done that on purpose. Even if I do have a crush on you..." His eyes widened, he started to turn around. I laughed,
"I already know. Row told me. It's okay. I knew you did it by accident, but Corey feels absolutely terrible about what he did."
"Oh? Well he shouldn't, I probably would've done the same too." He winked. I suddenly felt uncomfortable,
"Yeah, but he still feels horrible." He started to walk away again. Then he turned to me,
"I really do like you Sab. I hope we can actually kiss one day. Like, a real one." He winked once more. I shifted my position. I didn't know what to say. This was unacceptable. Peyton flirting with me and Rowan flirting with Core. I needed to fix this.
