Chapter 15: Surprise!

Once we were done, Rowan came over to my house.
"Soooo...." she grined. I laughed,
"What?"
"Oh come on," Rowan nudged me, "You know what." She's right, I do know what she's talking about.
"Fine..." I sighed happily, "What do you wanna know?"
"When's your second date?" Hmm, I haven't thought about that.
"I'm not actually sure yet. I hope it's soon though." I smiled, "How about you and Peyton?"
She grined, "Tonight, although, it doesn't really matter because when I don't have any plans, I call him over."
"Hey! Why not me?" I tease.
We laugh. They're so cute.
"You two are adorable!" We say in unison. Which then causes us to laugh even harder. I look at Rowan, I love her so much. She's my best friend. Plus, I had Corey. I had to be the most luckiest girl in the world.

Just then, I heard a knock on the door. I got up to answer that, confused.
"Who's that?" Rowan asked. I shrug. I open the door.
"Corey!" Okay... "What are you doing here?" He pulled me into a hug,
"I missed you, so I figured I'd come over, is that okay?"
"Sure, Rowan is here, but come on in."
"Oh I'm sorry, you sure it's okay?" I smiled, he's so polite.
"Yes, I'm sure, come in!"
"Oh and I, uh, also got you this." He pulled out a tiny white box. I opened it up, it was a beautiful necklace that said "Cool" in cursive. He was so sweet!
"Aw, Core, you shouldn't have!" I blushed.
"Well I did, like it m'lady?"
"Like it? Noo," He looked disappointed, "Love it? Duh!" I hugged him tight. He kissed my head. I leaned my head on his shoulder and put my arms around his waist. His head rested on top of my head, as I thought how lucky I was. Rowan must've felt awkward because she said,
"Hey, I guess I should probably go see what Peyton's up to. Have fun." Then, she winked at me and left.
"I love you." I said to Corey, without thinking. He didn't say anything right away so I got embarrassed and started blushing. Then he whispered,
"I love you more." I let that sink in and snuggled my head into the crook of his neck. Then I said,
"We need to have a second date."
"I agree."
"Hmm...when?" I asked, sleepily.
"I don't know baby, tonight?" Wow, did he just call me baby?! I shifted. He seemed to notice.
"I'm so sorry, it, it just came out."
"No, Core, it's fine." I blushed, "I love you so much." and right then, we had the longest, sweetest, kiss. It probably should've felt a little wrong. But, it felt normal. Maybe he really was the one.
