The Moon shone bright over the dark town of Texhoma. Its was all silent. Not a sound around. Except for the angry mob chasing after Arianna. She ran and ran down the street. She ran past the park that was littered in blood and fake weaponry. The beasts just walked over it all. No regards for what was there.
Arianna looked around frantically for the mysterious man, Joseph. He was no where to be seen. Arianna panicked as she thought about how this man had let her get trapped and now she was going to die.
She kept running down main street until she got to an area of large old brick buildings. Making a right and towards the south side of the street. Entering a grassy grounded alley way. There were two dead corpses on the ground. Arianna didnt notice and ended up tripping on the corpses.
Minutes ahead from the group and quickly thinking, Arianna grabbed one of the bodies and rolled it on top of her. Letting the others come and fill up the narrow path. Entering the open area surrounded by old decaying buildings. A sheet of metal was put up on the other exit. Possibly to prevent to out flow of beasts. But to contain them.
Arianna couldnt think straight and soon hyperventilated herself to sleep underneath the rotting corpse. The guts and blood exposed and dripping down on Arianna. Making her gag and cough quietly to herself. Trying not to alert the group. Shee stayed like that all night... Laying on the ground.

The bright morning sun dawns over Texhome. Illuminating the broken glass that littered the streets. Cars rested on the side and collected dust. The crashed vehicals housed bodies for the insects to feed and breed on.Pheobe sprints as fast as she could back towards the football fields gate. Her hair was a mess and she was filthy as she ran. Screaming and hollering for Don or Bear to open the gate.
Don was the first to awake off the grass on the 40 yard line. He slowly stood and stretched. Yawning and then slowly walking towards the gate. Bear just yawned and stretched out happily. Falling back to sleep on the field.
Pheobe was the first to reach the gate and shakingly picked up the chain lock. She tried to unscrew the cylinder off it but she was too shakey. Don stepped in and quickly undid the lock for Pheobe. Then screwed it back on.
Pheobe: D-Don... S-she Gone!
Don: the fraggle rock do you mean? Wheres Arianna at- ooh ok... I see now.
Pheobe: we went to sleep over in the high school building and when i awoke. She was gone.
Don: ok... I think i have an idea.
Pheobe: and that is?
Don walks away from the gate. Headed back towards the sleeping spot. There was a small put area with burnt wood. It was a makeshift firepit that Don and Bear slept near comfortably. Pheobe followed behind and looked at the spot.
Pheobe: what the fuck is this?
Don: this... This is home. And im comfortable. So you better as well.
Pheobe sighs deeply to herself and sits down by the firepit. She leans back on her arms and looks up to the sky. Seeing white and and grey puffs of smoke floating through the sky and slightly increasing.
Pheobe: tis a lovely day... And what do you think is up with a clouds? A storm coming along?
Bear: hell nah. Those are burn smoke. Something must'ave burnt while we were sleeping.
Don: yep. Something inside of town i guess. For it to be this thick.
Pheobe: maybe theres something to do with Arianna....
