Revelation Revolutions 2: A Fenced Primacy

A drop in the ocean. 2x04

Pheobe awakes on the ground by the fire. Tall grass poked her and marked her flesh from where she laid. She yawned and stretched as she sat up and looked around. Seeing Don still asleep and Ezekiel was limping by the fence with Arianna. Bear and Joseph were over by the pickup truck, talking about things.

She groaned as she got up and started walking over towards Arianna. She smiled at the sight of seeing her friends. Her mind was racing with what they were going to do today.

Ezekiel noticed Pheobe and smiled at her. He kindly waved, which caught the attention of Arianna. Who turned to wave good morning.

Aria: Well good morn, my dearest Companion. Care to join us in the morning runs?

Pheobe: Good morn, what doth thou so mean by "morning run"

Zeke: She means, are you going to go on the supply runs with us?

Pheobe: oh yea sure. And by the way Ezekiel... Your new glasses be looking super cool.

Zeke: Oh. Why thank you. Now lets figure out how we can do this...

Ezekiel starts walking over to the pickup that Joseph had brought inside the fence. His old broken glasses hung from his dirty blue jean pockets. Swinging gracefully as he walked to the side of the pickup bed.

Arianna smiled at Pheobe and nudged her head towards the pickup. As if saying, "come on. Lets go." Pheobe smiled and walked off eith her. Meeting the others around the pickup. Except for Don.

Joseph stood proud with everyone else. Ezekiel stares and made a strange glare towards the new man. Highly skeptical of him. Arianna was the first of everyone to speak up over the group.

Arianna: So. As we know. This is our home, and as such, we need to defend it as such. Joseph here says upgraded walls would be a great addition. And we know there is not enough food to last us forever. So we split into three teams. Ezekiel and Pheobe, i need you two to check around this town for food.

Ezekiel: Yes ma'am

Pheobe: a pleasure my empress.

Arianna: As for you, Joseph and Bear, I need you two to take this here truck out and gather as mush ply wood and nails and fencing as you can get. Get another truck if you have to. Just do it. Same rules apply for Food Team: There are no rules, Just dont be crazy...

Joseph nods and shamelessly looks at the ground. Rubbing his neck before looking back over to Arianna. Ezekiel agreed and went off to get his water bottle. Pheobe followed behind Ezekiel. Going after her club instead.

Joseph grabbed a long spear and then stepped to the cab of the pickup. Opening the door and grabbing the keys to start the truck. Arianna walks by Joseph and stops to talk to him.

Arianna: so... Get thick wood. We need to build a better gate. And maybe some watch towers.

Joseph: good to know mrs. Alpha leader. Do you have a list for me that you just randomly have on handy too?

Arianna: actually yes. This is just to give you an idea of what might be needed for these.

Arianna pulls out a note from her pocket and gives it over to Joseph. It contained a lost of objects, such as watch towers and garden plots. Joseph just rolled his eyes and folded the paper back up. Putting it in his pocket.

Arianna smiled and walked off. Saying a quick, "thank you." as she walked to the campfire.  Bear was completely ignored as he grabbed a machete and sat down in the pickup trucks passenger seat. Joseph sat into the driver seat and shut his door. Revving the engine before driving forward and doing a turn around in the open lot. Driving right out of the open gate and into town. Through mainstreet.
