|Chapter 15: Only Bright Suns|  

Kyungsoo can see the man's eyes squinting in front of him as a form of frustration building, lowering down to his gaping lips. He had been watching that same man stand in front of the mirror for almost half an hour now and still, this said man can't get rid of the fact that his hair has now turned a complete opposite of what dear Lord has given him.

Kim Junmyeon, apparently, and has only come to an enlightening realization today, after shrugly claiming he can manage with some simple hair products, that he inevitably loves his hair naturally – black – and not in any other more color.

"God – I totally look ridiculous!" Kyungsoo had to stop the urge agreeing in that instant to instead roll his eyes for the seventh time he had heard him say that exact same statement, in the same irritated groan and in the same incredulous look he is wearing on his face. "I look some kind of bleached corn – for heaven's sake!"

"You don't." It was a lie. "You don't look like some bleached corn wearing a neat, expesive brand coat and tie that already is bound to be thirty minutes late for his urgent meeting. Right, Yixing-ssi?" He turns with a forced teethy grin to the male who introduced himself as such this morning.

The latter only nods in response as he stands by the doorway of his boss' bedroom, holding some documents in his arms and patiently waiting for the man to be done.

"Really? I don't?" The blonde asks in hopes of some kind of retribution, having his eyes pinned and never leaving the reflection of his bright yellow hair evidently sticking out from his whole existence. "Xing-ah, is he telling the truth?"

Kyungsoo sees him turning to his secretary with a frown on his face, which was the last thing he really needed to see right now.

Kim Junmyeon, apparently, is trying to act cute again, and it's only worsening the headache he has from the bump on his head that he barely knows how he got in the first place.

Turning to eradicate his eyes of such an annoying sight, he also looks at the latter and what he gets in return is an invisible call for help. The man had been sending signals back and forth with his eyes towards him before shifting again to his boss'. Surely, he can see the man beyond the contemplation of wanting to keep his job and telling him the truth that his boss looks quite dashing – even sexy – in his charcoal suit yet the distracting hair color totally blows the mystifying and dignified persona right out of the window.

"Oh please – stop giving your secretary such a hard time, Jun!" Kyungsoo exasperates, and the Chinese internally thanks him for being saved. "Now – go! Even if you are the boss of your own company, you can't just jeopardize your own secretary's credibility of doing his job."

Yet despite the lengthy speech of how everything is going to be fine and that no one will notice it still took him another twenty minutes to finally shove him out of his own house not without whining about not wanting to be hideously seen by the world.

An hour passes and Kyungsoo realizes there really is nothing to do around the man's spacious house after bidding him to return to work, since it had also been weeks when he had stayed home with him only to cater for his needs and be the one next to him in all those painfully hard times.

And for those, he's really glad Junmyeon came back. Kyungsoo feels grateful for everything Junmyeon had ever done.

To say, he feels better – a little less than a bit which is still far from being okay. Albeit that fact, Junmyeon's bright presence helped relieved some of the loneliness, even though it is very clear that he'd be stuck in that void for a very long time – maybe until forever. But like it had always been, Junmyeon's smiles is able to radiate security like it was back then, the day of the accident which caused him his parents' lives. Junmyeon had been the one to be there for him, his family as well. He had always been the one to bring him up again on his feet every time he falls.
