After going to her locker, Jaela realized this was her first actual date. Of course she had 'dated' but never outside of school. She found herself nervous as she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. She reapplied a layer of red lipstick and combed her hands through her bang. What was she supposed to look like? This is her first date and she's wearing what she wore to school? I mean she hadn't planned this if she would've known she would've gone dressier. She sighed what good is it to think of all the could've's. She walked out of the bathroom confidently.

She looked around she was supposed to meet at her locker, right? She soon found Elias leaning on the locker next to hers, on his phone.

"Elias?" He looked up at the sound of his name and placed his phone in his sweater pocket.

"Hi Jaela!" He said as he hugged her. "We are going somewhere but you don't get to know where until we get there. I don't have a car yet, but Blaine said he will let me borrow his as long as I bring it back before 9:00." He says giddily. "Are you excited?!"

"Yeah, just a little more nervous though" Jaela admitted adding a laugh to add casualty.

"It's alright, Star." He said. It was just a part of her last name but another pet name?

"Why Star?" Jaela asked laughing there had to be a reason other than "its your last name".

"Well first it's in your last name, but also stars are bright, guiding, and incredible. Kind of like you." He said blushing. Jaela laughed.

"Alright, I'll except that." She had 2 pet names now. Blaine called her love and now Elias was calling her Star. She enjoyed the endearment. She never had nicknames since her name was short enough. These terms made her feel special.

"Good, because I was gonna try a lot more until I found one that you liked, if you didn't like this one." He said smiling. He was trying to show that he cared without being creepy, he wasn't sure if his attempt was working but Jaela seemed okay with all that they had reached so far.

It was when Blaine arrived that Jaela straightened her spine and looked as he came.

"Here, Elias. Where'd you say you were going?" He said handing Elias his keys.

"It's a surprise" Elias said winking at Jaela. Blaine looked from Elias to Jaela and his eyes dropped. Obviously they were going out. Blaine had just confessed how he felt for her. Of course Elias didn't know this but he really felt betrayed. He looked into Jaela's eyes. Jaela could tell he was sad.

"Blaine..." She began but she didn't know what to say. She and Blaine hadn't dated so she didn't need to apologize but she felt she had to say something.

"No it's okay, Jaela. See you later, Elias?" He turned on his heels and walked until he reached the stairs and ran up them.

"Yeah man." Elias replied unsure why his friend had left so suddenly. "What was that about?" He asked Jaela.

Jaela just shook her head and looked at the floor. "Nothing." She said. She didn't want to hurt Blaine's feelings, but she also didn't want to reject Elias when he so obviously liked her.

"Then let's go, Star." He smiled at his own usage of the name. He stuck his arm out so her arm could intertwine with his. She took the invitation and put her arm inside of his.

As they walked out of the school, they walked towards Blaine's car which wasn't that far since they had gotten here early. Elias was only a bit shorter than Blaine so Blaine's car seat was far enough forward for Elias to sit and drive safely.
