Blaine arrived at the hospital at 5:30,10 minutes after she called him. He ran out of the car holding a jacket. He was in striped pajama bottoms, and a white tee. Jaela couldn't help but notice that even in that he was still hot. She bit her lip and smiled while he was putting the jacket over her. She put her arms in and zipped it.

When Blaine looked at her in his coat he soaked it all in; how it was a little too long and the sleeves ended in her palms and how the shoulders stood out because of how angular his were compared to her soft feminine ones. Jaela wasn't worried about him staring at her because she was staring at him. Even without his hair brushed or his regular get up on he was beautiful. When Blaine got out of the zone, he laughed seeing as she was still gazing at him.

"I know the view is amazing from where you're standing, but it's getting kind of chilly." He said pointing to his car which is a little red BMW.

"Oh yeah I'm sorry. Thank you for coming out here I'll give you directions to my place"

After Jaela told him about Jem driving her here and how her mom is, Blaine shook his head.

"Why would he just ditch you out here?"

"I don't know but that was really rude of him just to leave me here and not tell me."

"Yeah, are you sure you want to go home alone? I could stay with you?"

If he stayed with her she wouldn't wake up alone, she'd have a ride to school, and she could wake up next to this. She panned her eyes over him. Is her room even clean though? What will he think if he comes to her home? That's private stuff not just for a random guy. I mean she wouldn't consider him random but they weren't that close.

"Would you?" That wasn't what she had planned to say. She blushed waiting for a reply to her accidental question.

"Of course, love" On the way he talked about school.

"I'm in 12th grade, the classes you are taking now will be very important when you get to be a senior. You'll regret not doing work in those classes when your work is 5 times harder."
He went on and on until they finally arrived at her house. She was happy to not be alone the street was dark, her house was dark, her room was dark but with Blaine in her bed it felt like the best place to go. Once she changed into her pajamas, which because she had a boy over consisted of some pajama pants and a long sleeve shirt, she jumped into the bed where he had already gotten comfortable.

"Is it awkward to have a boy at your house?"

"What makes you think I haven't had others over?" He laughed.

"You're a freshmen, boys had cooties last year."

Jaela laughed. "That was 3rd grade, not 8th."

"Oh okay if you say so. But honestly is it wierd to have me over?"

"Honestly yeah, you're..."

"Hot?"

"I was gonna say Blaine..." From what Jaela could tell all the girls had crushes on him. "All the girls probably dream of having you in this position." Jaela looked as Blaine laid resting his head on his fist which was held up by his elbow.

"I doubt it." He said laughing. "My ex was the one to break up with me, there's one girl off that list of 'all the girls'"

"Well she was stupid I mean you are..."

"Hot?"

"Actually I was gonna say that this time" she laughed. "Plus you're kind and funny. Who did she move on to?"

"Some random guy in the 10th grade." Jaela gasped.

"You're lying. She could have you, but instead she has a sophomore?"

"I guess" he laughed. Then he looked back into Jaela's eyes with all seriousness. "I mean age has nothing to do with it, at least I hope not she's almost an adult and he's still 15. That would be kind of pedophile-y. He's a good looking guy, tall, athletic build, I've heard he's sweet and all. I mean if I would have found you last year when me and Maddie were still together. I would have left her for you. Then it would be some boy talking to her about how I could have her yet I chose a freshmen." He laughed. "It's all about perspective."

Jaela blushed. Was he just saying that to see her blush? Did he really like her like that? He couldn't.

Not sure what to say Jaela shook her head. She doesn't want to fall for anyone right now she wanted to hold her ground.

"How old are you, Blaine?" He basically scowled.

"17." He replied. Jaela knew age just a number she has heard multiple stories about couples which were 10 or more years apart but still worked out. And Blaine and herself were only close to 4 years apart.

"You wouldn't like me. You don't. "

"What would make you think that?"

"I don't know what would make you think that you'd like me?"

"You're cute, funny, nice, you're incredible." He paused. "Okay honestly I don't know if you're any of those things. For all I know you could be a big bitch to all your friends, your whole face could be a face mask and your jokes could all be from Google. But when I look at you, I feel like I'd want to wake up to that every morning. That I'd want to take you out to restaurants, I want to do the simple things with you. Maybe you could call me a hopeless romantic, but when I see you I see a future. I see happiness for future me, in you. And I hope you see the same in myself." Jaela wasn't expecting that. She was speechless. She had boyfriends before but none of them spoke about her with such passion. None of them thought they'd stay together for more than that school year, never mind forever.

"You don't have to say anything, love. We have school tomorrow, lie down." He scooted over and turned the lamp out as she got under the covers. He got under as well.

He wrapped his arm around her stomach and smiled a smile that she would never know happened.

Jaela smiled as well, feeling safer, more comfortable in her own bed than she had ever felt. Maybe they were meant to be.
