Daisuke Nagato - One Piece

Devil Fruit/Weapon: Daisuke uses a broad sword that is quite large and nearly impossible for a normal person to pick up that he calls Yakusoku. It took Daisuke a couple years just to fully get used to it. It is similar to Cloud Strife's Buster Blade from Final Fantasy or a broadsword from a game like World of Warcraft or something. Its blade is silver while the hilt is a dark grey. It is almost, if not always, by Daisuke or on his person. The sword has a Jolly Roger on it, which, since it's truly mostly silver, is more of an outline. The addition to it rather than it just being silver is an X mark over the left eye. Despite having a sword he is also proficient to hand-to-hand combat, Ichigo having taught him in this.

Fighting style - Decided to add this again. Unlike other swordsmen his sword isn't all he uses. He uses a variety of his sword and hand-to-hand in battle. He is great at adapting to what to use, and reacts quite quickly. Example, against a group of people, he can stick his blade into the ground, punch and kick someone, then suddenly soon, grabbing his sword, and attacking with it from there.

Attacks -

Meteor Plunge - Will jump from a high place, having the blade toward the ground. He'll grab the hilt while placing his feet on the flat part of the blade on the bottom, putting his own weight behind it. From there he tends to use some attacks the moment the blade stops.

Okay, seeing as I am going to lose Internet connection soon and can't think of any other attacks, tell me if you want to use him or not later. Then I'll send in other attacks. Or just later when I think of them.

Physical Appearance: Daisuke is quite fit, most of his body muscle rather than fat. This is because of all the training he went through just to easily handle the sword as well as all the training Ichigo and the academy put him through. He is 6'1 and weighs about 143 pounds. His light grey, nearly white, hair is slightly long and a bit spiky. His eyes are a crystal blue.

Clothing: He wears a coat similar to Coby's, only black and with gold lining. He varies between having it zipped up and leaving it open to reveal a short sleeve navy blue shirt, loose black pants that allow for easy fighting, and sneakers that have metal plating on the bottom both for painful kicks and so the blade doesn't pierce his feet when he puts them on there. There is a strap that goes around his body to hold Yakusoku.

History: Most of his life Daisuke has been despised. His father was Daichi Nagano, a well known swordsman for the Silver Marked. They were a pirate crew thought to have a chance of making their captain the next pirate king. His mother and father were both part of the crew. Believing the pirate life wasn't safe for their child, Daichi one day took a rowboat and Daisuke to the Marine town of Ravista. The man had only reached around a third way through the town before the Marines descended on him. It probably would have been smarter to arrive at night, but Daichi knew the man he wanted to see would be leaving that night. That very man appeared only moments after he was stopped, an annoyed look on his face. He demanded to know what he was doing there, to which Daichi responded it was nice to see him again, too. The man, Ichigo Nagano, was his older brother and high up in the marines. It was the only reason Daichi hadn't been killed upon spotting despite being from a well known pirate crew. Ichigo demanded to know again, and this time, rather than joking, Daichi held out a slipping baby Daisuke in a bundle of cloth. It hurt Daichi, knowing what was about to happen, but it had to be done to keep him safe. The sea was no place for a child, especially not as a pirate. Life would be hard for Daisuke, but he'd be safe. Daichi told Ichigo he wanted him to take his son and care for him. Having his own son, only a year or so older than Daisuke, Ichigo immediately understood Daichi's reasoning for coming there. While most of the marines shouted it was absurd to even think the child of a pirate would be taken in by a marine, Ichigo simply stepped forward and extended his hands. The moment Ichigo had a good grip, Daichi suddenly smiled, said he'd see his brother next time, and threw a smoke bomb down to conceal himself. While the marines tried to recuperate, Daichi escaped, Ichigo not able, and not entirely wanting to, go after his brother because of the baby in his arms.
