Full Name: Thomas Crown, but goes by Writhe (No idea, don't ask)

Aliases (or nicknames): "Nightmare King" Writhe

Age: 48

Gender: Male

Specialty/Position: Enemy

Affiliation: Adventurer I guess, but if his interest is caught he'll be whatever is wanted of him.

Race: Human

Romance: ..... For some reason I can't even think of that ever happening.....

Devil Fruit/Weapon: Dream-Dream no Mi. As explained it allows him to enter and manipulate a person's dreams. He can show them their greatest wish come true or their worst nightmare. Although at times he'll start with the first then go into the second, he usually shows their worst nightmare. He has a short sword that he uses when needed, which is rare while in the dream world. Also has a couple of daggers. As I've said he usually has something he uses to put his opponent to sleep since he cannot force them to sleep with his devil fruit.

Attacks (anywhere from 0-20)

* ones only work in their dreams.

*Wish Realm - Basically where he'll produce the greatest wish/dream while in their dream.

*Nightmare Realm - Like the above but the nightmare form.

*Fear Storm - Preforms a series of strikes that produces/adds a new fear happening to the target with each successful hit.

Shadow's Step - Will move very quickly until it's nearly like he's teleporting but is simply moving fast and using shadows to conceal his movement. Usually followed by an attack of some kind.

Monster's Fang - Uses two daggers rather than his short sword for quicker movements where he'll come in and attack from both sides like a bite would.

Dance of the Night - A combination of Shadow's Step and Shadow's Blade. Will use continuous Shadow's Step followed by Monster's Fang.

Physical Appearance: Writhe is about 6'4" and lean. He is unnaturally thin, most of his weight coming from muscle since he eats the bare minimum usually, if at all. He has close cropped graying black hair, dull purple eyes that usually have bags beneath them, and fair skin that looks like it had once been tan. Most of his body is marred by scars, and he actually has one running through his left eye so it blind.

Clothing: He wears a black cloak a lot of the time, usually left open to reveal a completely black outfit. This is done so he blends with the shadows. He even wears black boots and black gloves. His short sword and dagger sheaths are at his waist.

History: Thomas was actually a very well known pirate before. He had a bounty of 340 million belli as the swordsmen of a New World crew by the name of Devil's Tyrants. When he was 35, though, most of his crew was killed by a Yonkou they had ticked off with their arrogant attitude (great, now I'm going to end up making the Yonkou... Unless one would fit this and stop my imagination). The captain, however, escaped. Enraged by this but knowing he had told his crew where he was going, the Yonkou began interrogating the captured Devil's Tyrants, putting them through a living hell. Many actually died or killed themselves through the process. Whenever the interrogates found what each member feared most, they'd use it against them. They did this to Thomas, even if he no longer remembers what they did to him there. All he knows is it nearly broke him. Before it could, though, the Yonkou found him/herself in another battle, and it was then Thomas managed to escape, barely clinging to his mental state. He sneaked onto the opponents ship during a battle, finding his weapons and killing those on board guarding it. He gathered some supplies and stole a life boat. With these he escaped. It was while he was on the seas he ate the fruit he'd stolen from the other pirates. He came across a foul tasting one and got rid of it, figuring it was just a bad fruit. Before he could even eat the next one, though, Thomas passed out.

When he awoke he barely remembered anything. He simply had a sense of his past, which was a side effect of the fruit he had eaten - it ate dreams and fears, and since Thomas's dreams and fears lied in the past, the fruit had devoured them. It only did this the first time, as it was fed later by other dreams (this is changeable - I just wanted him to have amnesia/major personality change). Thomas was found adrift by a marine boat, and recognizing him, took him to Grand Line to be put in Impel Down. By the time they were nearly there, Thomas had discovered his powers and killed most of the crew in their sleep, the marines having no idea he was a Devil Fruit user to have used the correct cuffs. The ones he didn't kill with his power he killed with his sword. In only one night he took down the entire ship. From there Thomas continued to travel the seas in any method he could find, having a new resolve. He still had a sense of the terrible fear he'd endured in the past, and he decided he'd save people from their fear. Those who caught his eye he's challenge by putting them through their worst nightmare, and if they could not overcome it, he would kill them.

Family: Doesn't really matter, but I can say still if you want.

Personality: Writhe (decided to go ahead and switch to his current name) is very much a wanderer. He only does things that interest him. If he grows bored with something, he will leave without a second thought. This extends to almost everything but his "target". Once someone catches his interest, he will pursue them no matter what. After he decides whether or not they're worth "saving", he'll either enter their dreams or fight them in real life, depending on how they catch their interest. Usually it is their dreams, but if they prove somehow their strength of will before, he'll see if they can provide some fun for him. Even once he has challenged them, if he finds them intriguing and they survived, he may still keep an eye on them. Because of his devil fruit he's not only been sapped of fear, but also of any form of dream. He has a goal, but that's the best he can do. This can end badly for him because he fears nothing and can walk into something that will lead to his death without fear. Although fear can hinder us, it can also save us, after all. Instead he has to rely on his smarts on what will and will not kill him. Writhe has extreme insomnia, and although he is physically strong and to a point gets strength from being in dreams, his body does lack proper nutrients because he rarely eats. Writhe can be very sarcastic and cruel, traits that have crossed over from when he was Thomas, but at other times he can be completely calm and calculating. It's pretty much like he's bipolar.

Likes: Tea, training, studying those who interest him, anything that amuses him, reading, gathering herbs or other things to put people to sleep, and the darkness.

Dislikes: Anything that can get in the way of his target, extremely sugary or caffeinated drinks, bright lights, failure, and fear.

Goals (Or Dreams if you prefer): Simply to continue "saving" people from their fear

Other: I had something but forgot as something he would say, but oh well XD
