Random Note - This was inspired by Monster You Made Me by Pop Evil
*~*~*~
Full Name: Xander
Aliases (or nicknames): "Wind Demon" Xander
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Specialty/Position: Navigator
Affiliation: Crew member
Race: Human
Romance: Heh. If you can, I guess. Would have to be someone interesting and would be a challenge. Hates if things are too easy, even a girl.
Devil Fruit/Weapon: He ate the Kaze-Kaze no Mi as a kid. This give him the ability to control wind. Often outside of battle he'll use it to create small tornados under his feet so he can, in a way, fly. It takes up a lot of focus, though, to start, so it's rare he can use it in battles. Another thing he uses it for is to help him navigate, a skill taught to him by Kira (again, explained later) after he ate the fruit. He usually senses change in the air currents or will send the air underwater to see how it reacts to the sea to see how the underwater currents are. He also has a short sword that has a black blade with red going up the edges. The blade is only used when needed as well, though this is because Kira gave it to him, making him despise it.
Attacks:
Note - * marked attacks are the ones he actually uses against strong opponents. Explained in Other.
Bladed Fist: Xander envelops his fists, creating a layer of knuckle brace-like wind that lasts until he dismisses it, making his punches much more affective.
Tornado Punch - Xander does something similar to Bladed Fists, but instead it is quickly swirling wind like a tornado that if he punches with can shred skin and keep going like spinning blades.
Tornado Wall - Creates a wall of air to protect himself in a pinch or an ally.
Tornado Armor - Creates an armor around himself of constantly spinning air. Acts like Edwards wheel power in deflecting blows. Takes a lot of focus to keep up.
Wind Blade - Envelops his sword in air, either making it sharper with the wind or making the wind surround it but longer.
Flight Barrage* - Will use the wind to move him quicker than his body can go until he's nearly a blur, striking multiple punches or kicks or slashes from different angles. Also takes a lot of focus.
Wind Shuriken - Creates large wind shuriken that he throws at enemies.
Air Springs* - Will create sudden up-drafts that sends him flying up to avoid attacks.
Anything else you can think of. Did you notice this is the most attacks I've created so far?
Physical Appearance: He is 5'9" with a muscled, lean build from his past. It is also highly scarred on his upper body. A bit of a scar can be seen coming from the edges of his hair at his right temple. He has long dark blue hair that falls a bit into his face and stops at the edge of his neck. There are times he will put it into a ponytail, though usually it is a random decision he makes to do. His skin is fair, bordering on being pale.
Clothing: He wears a black jacket left open, the left sleeve cut off to the elbow to reveal wrappings going all the way down to his arm. This is to hide Kira's mark (explained later). He wears a red T-shirt underneath and loose black pants.
History: Xander, as well as many other kids, was taken from his home when he was seven to be sold as a slave. One of the slave traders had the ability to wipe a person's memory (whether through natural talent or devil fruit doesn't matter), doing so to wipe captured slaves memories so they wouldn't struggle as much. They still had basic knowledge, but they couldn't remember his past. Xander wasn't even his original name - it was the one he took up because he was always defending the kids younger than him while the kids were trained on the way to a slave house. He always stepped in the way of an attack against one of the younger kids. Only a fraction of his scars are from this, though.
Before the ship reached their goal, though, they ran into a small row boat. Thinking it may be another possible slave-to-be, they captured the man on the boat. He didn't even fight, leading the men to think he was weak. When the mind-wiping pirate went up to erase his memory, though, the man suddenly smiled and stabbed him through the heart with a dagger produced from under his jacket sleeve (they were too cocky to check him). From there the rest became enraged and attacked him. The man suddenly began to laugh like a maniac, killing all of the men and women without care before most of the children slaves-to-be, including Xander. Before long the slave traders began to run, but the man killed them, muttering of them being pathetic. After every one was wiped out, he stood before the children. They cowered in fear, afraid of the man smiling gently at them while covered in the only people they could remember any longer. Even if they despised them for what they did, even at their young age, it still shocked them. Then the man, who introduced himself as Kira, asked them a question: Who wants to be able to take down any who try to harm them and control them. After their experience, many children agreed instantly. Those who did not were soon persuaded to. Even those who had not been present quickly agreed.
Satisfied, Kira said he'd train them all. He stole the slave trader ship and took the children to a secluded part of a continent he'd found while out traveling, searching for some rare treasure that he never truly told the children what was. If they ever needed anything a town was within a few hours distance by boat. Most of what they needed was in the wild, though. The children, having no real memories of how they were raised, were quick to accept what Kira taught them: in this corrupt world, there is no right from wrong, simply survival. Most believed this and were easy to shape into killers. Xander was not among the majority. He could understand killing those who deserved it, but that was a type of justice, which was a type of right, right? Being about the fifth oldest child, he could actually form more forms of self thought than the younger kids and a couple of the older ones. Despite his less murderous thoughts, he was the top fighter. Because of this Kira took a special interest in him and was actually the child he became most bonded to. More of his views of the world were shared with him throughout their time together. Such was how although there were a few innocents throughout the world, they would only be corrupted by monsters. They were the ones who needed to be killed, and so many were a lot of deaths had to occur. Then he'd usually ruin his moments of wisdom such as saying how he was one of those monsters who needed to be killed.
