Full Name: Locke Nigarashi
Aliases (or nicknames): "Genius Child" Locke
Age: 11. But not just 11 – 11 ½!
Gender: Male
Specialty/Position: If anything he'd be some gunslinger if you choose to put him on a pirate crew. He can also be partially a blacksmith. Since you don't actually have that as a position, though, I figured maybe I'd have him do that as a minor thing? He isn't the strongest and would need help, but his logic and constant work with metals helps him through it a lot.
Affiliation: Pirate later on.
Race: Human, though argues he's above them.
Romance: Yeah, he still believes kissing and stuff is gross, though will jokes about it.
Devil Fruit/Weapon: Anything he can create, really. Usually will use his eye gear which helps him take aim and then shoot with either a dart pipe or needle gun he has created to go on his forearm. If they're close ranged fighters, though, he tends to bring out yo-yos that have electricity running through them (oh gee, where did I get that idea *rolls eyes*, although probably very few would catch it) to put distance between them.
Attacks: He sees no reason to have these (maybe one of the crew people can talk him into believing differently, though) because each battle will be unique and he believes he has to improvise for each and every one. So far it has worked pretty well for him in everything he has done, so he sees no reason to change.
Physical Appearance: He's a thin boy due to running and playing a lot, and reaches 4'7". He has shaggy ashy brown hair that will occasionally fall in his face until he cuts it. It's usually done by himself, so the bangs are crooked and jagged. He's fair, though bordering tan, skin wise, and has sharp grey eyes.
Clothing: Locke tends to wear a hoodie of varying colors, and usually with a lot of secret pockets in them to store his gadgets. He also always wears loose knee length shorts no matter the weather, also of varying colors. Although he doesn't have a preference for hoodie color, his shorts are always a color similar to white, black, or grey. Usually he wears a white arm band on his left wrist so it isn't irritated by the straps of his needle gun, but it is only seen when he has his sleeves pulled up. Almost at all times he wears his eye gear (by the way, it's similar to the scanner on DBZ or the things from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal if you've seen that) with the screen retreated into the base (not sure what else to call it), but a quick press of a button and the blue glass comes up and in front of his left eye.
History: Many people of Traverse Village know Dr. Yoshi Nigarashi to be one of the most known and popular up and coming scientists and inventors. In fact, they heard the Black Market had made him one of their prime donators of weapons to sell, though it had never been proved. After all, nobody went to his mansion, and he very really came to town to buy supplies. He's too caught up in his work to even think about anything of the outside world. Ever since his wife died, any drive to go into the outside world had left him. His son barely even meant anything to him any longer.
Locke was a pretty well known kid in their town. He had advanced extremely fast in the school they had convinced Yoshi to send him to. At the age of seven he was in fifth grade. Even then he surpassed most students and made excellent grades. Some teachers even feared he was smarter than them. What had Yoshi done to the child to make him so advanced? Some believed alterations had been done to his brain, which wasn't the truth. In fact, Locke had simply been born smarter, most likely from being around his father and having a near photographic memory. Not only that, but he had a basic understanding of how most simple things worked due to all the most complicated things he had had to learn to help his father in some of his studies.
