The bed was starting to get really hot.
I was tossing and turning trying to find somewhere cold. Ever get that feeling? I hate it.
I threw the blanket off of me, and felt a little cooler, but it just wasn't comfortable. I decided I should just get my lazy butt out of bed and do something. My eyes opened to see the light of day blind me.
I rubbed my eyes to let them adjust and focus, then turned my head around to greet my fiancé, when I discover that I'm alone.
I turned my head to the other side, and find that side abandoned as well. That sucks.
I got up and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine, and then go on my search for Michael.
*
I went back to my room and dressed casually in Michael's clothes because all of mine were at Hayvenhurst.
I had to find Michael. I couldn't see nor hear him do anything. I ran downstairs to see if he was hot, and slept on the couch; but he wasn't there.
Oh, great. I have a missing fiancé. That's perfectly normal to state.
"MI-CHAEL!" I called to see if there would be an answer awaiting.
No. Pure silence.
I groaned. I'm not worried about him being gone. He likes to scare me, and play tricks on me because he knows I do get scared easily.
"Michael! Get out here! I'm not falling for it!" I yelled again.
Nothing.
"If you don't get out from hiding, I'll..." I don't know what I'd do to him...
"I'll...get you back! Even worse! I'll pretend to die!" That should get him.
Nada.
Holy Jesus! Where the heck is he?!
"THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE!"
Silence, once again.
Now it's getting scary. What if he got kidnapped?! No, we were perfectly safe in our room, and I would have heard something... What if he left me? Just flat out- left me? He would never... Ugh, don't fall for it Bonnie! Be stronger than that! He is trying to get you to worry and panic.
Then I remembered last time I lost him, he was behind me the entire time. I turned my body around suddenly, to find no one behind me. I looked everywhere, to see that he wasn't hiding.
"Michael, you're starting to scare me. Stop! Come out now!" I yelled with my hands cupping my mouth to project the sound.
Still, no answer.
I sighed, then slumped into a chair sadly. I yelled the last that was in me, "APPLE-"
"Head."
Another voice finished the word for me, and I screamed, which made me fly off my chair. I got up to hear the very familiar voice laughing hysterically.
"MICHAEL!" I screamed.
He was still laughing, holding his sides, "I'm ... sorry... that, was ... priceless!" he managed to say between breathing and laughing.
"You butt!" I punched his arm.
"Ow!" He rubbed his arm with a smile on his face.
I just shook my head and narrowed my eyes, giving him a death stare.
It was silent for a moment, then he said, "You fell," while pointing at me.
I couldn't help but laugh so freaking hard. That was really random, and he was just being a little meanie-head.
