Author's Note~

Hi I've been really inactive I know I'm putting my other story on hold .3. sowee. But here is a New Year special one-shot Togami Byakuya from Danganronpa The Animation x Reader. It's been hard making this one xD but oh well.~

"(Y/n) are u sure you don't wanna spend your new year with us just like Christmas? Won't you feel lonely??" My older brother asked me.

"It's fine nii-san I don't want to spoil your time with your family and I'll celebrate with our parents." I told him smiling. Really I don't want to get in the way of their family celebration that would be rude of me.

"I guess that's fine.. See you then and happy new year."

"Bye nii-san and Happy New Year to you and your family!" I left his house and drove my way to our parents'.

It's been two months after I married my husband, Togami Byakuya, heir to the Togami enterprise. I already prepared myself for the times that he won't be able to celebrate the holidays with me because of work. Last Christmas he was still on a business trip so he wasn't able to celebrate with me. I know I know... I felt sad and lonely not being able to celebrate our first Christmas as husband and wife but we can't help it and earlier he called telling me he won't make it in time for new year. You have no idea how much I wanted to cry but I prevented it.Reaching their house I rang the doorbell and waited for one of my parents or their maids to open the door.

"Good evening lady (y/n). Your parents are at the dining room waiting for you." Mae, my parents' maid ever since I was six years old greeted me.

"Thanks Mae."I went to the kitchen and greeted my parents. 11:00pm is the current time and I talked with my parents for 30 minutes before I started to feel sad about Byakuya not being here and decided to tell them about it.

"Don't worry we're here its to bad Byakakuya won't make it." Mother and father comforted me.

"I guess so, thank you mom, dad.."11:38 pm December 31Someone rang the doorbell and I offered to open it but I never expected who it would be..It was someone I love and the one whom I was wished was beside me.It was Byakuya.My vision started to get clouded caused tears forming when I saw him.

"I actually made it...." He seemed to mumble while putting his hand in his hair seemingly relieved.

"What?! Not happy to see me?" He snickered while asking me. I hugged him crying which made his whole body stiff.

"Hey! Why are you crying?!" He asked sounding slightly angry.

"It's just because I thought I'd have to spend our first new year as newlyweds without you." I answered wiping my tears away.

"......." He went silent for a few seconds before speaking again "Here, your gift."

He said handing over a gift wrapped rectangular box. I opened it and found a beautiful necklace with a blue heart with gold linings as a pendant and for the second time tonight I hugged him.

"Thank you.." He just looked at me and nodded. I went back to the kitchen with Byakuya who greeted my parents immediately. It was 11:55 when he finished talking to them so we all went out to the garden and waited.

By 12:00 fireworks started to fill the dark sky with beautiful colors and we lit up the sparkler except for Byakuya who refused.

Narrator's POV

After thirty minutes the couple went back to their house and there Byakuya told (y/n) that he would like to get his gift.....What's his desired gift? I guess we'll never know. *wink wink ~*
