After I finished making the meal, I sat on the kitchen counter and placed my head in my hands. What was happening to me? Why have I suddenly felt so physically sick to stand, or even walk? I heard a few footsteps come from the doorway, and it was Freya. "Hey baby, you feeling ok?" She asked me. I really didn't know how to answer her question. I was so confused, yet feeling like I was about to throw up, and anxious of what I might actually say. "I'm....fine, you hungry?" I asked. She had a concerned look on her face, which worried me. "Are you sure? You're looking...a bit pale" She said as she approached me. "I said I'm fine! Please sit down and eat your food!" I snapped. I can't believe I just did that. My heart began to beat painfully against my chest, and my forehead started sweating. "...sweetheart, you're not well" She said as she placed her hand on my forehead. "...please, don't go" I panted. She looked confused. "Go where? I'm not leaving you" She stated and helped me walk over to the sofa. "...Freya, there was a letter" I said. "A letter from who?" She asked. She placed me on the sofa and sat next to me with her hands in mine. "From...your parents, it was in a cupboard, and it hadn't been opened...so I opened it." I explained.
"I know what letter you're on about, and I was going to open it, but before we left for Paris, I put it on top of the T.V. I never put it in the cupboard" She said. "Well...who did?" I asked. "I'm...I'm not sure" I said. "I never leave a spare key, and I always lock the doors and windows. Unless..." She paused. "Unless what?" I said with a concerned tone in my voice. "There's the basement, and the entrance to the basement is around the back of the house, but the lock is rusty, no one would be able to get in...I'm sure of it." She explained. My heart was still pounding really badly, but I was able to breath better. "Never mind that, you need to get better Harry! I'll got get some medicine" She said. I grabbed her hand in time and pulled her towards me. "You've done way to much work, please just rest with me? I would love that" I pleaded. She froze on the spot and stared out the window. "What...what is it?" I whispered. "I think someone is out there...but I'm not sure" She said as she sat next to me.
"What do you mean there's someone out there?" I asked as I pulled Freya into the kitchen. "I saw this flashing light and as I looked at it I could see it running away, Harry, I'm really scared!" She panicked. I looked out of the kitchen window, but I couldn't see anything. I then moved over to the other window and had a good look out of the window. In the distance, I saw a bright light moving away. "I can see it! But it's moving pretty fast, did you see the persons face?" I asked. Silence fell in the kitchen. I turned around and Freya wasn't there. That's when I started to feel physically sick, again. "Freya?!" I shouted. I ran around the house frantically. "Freya! Please answer me!" I screamed. Then it popped into my head, did she go outside? I quickly opened the front door and looked around me and tried to see the flashing light. In the corner of my eye, I could see a foot from behind the car. I sprinted towards the body, and it was Freya, on the floor. "Freya? Oh my gosh, Freya answer me!" I said worriedly. She mumbled and I was so happy to know she was alive.
"I'm taking you to hospital, now" I explained. I picked her up and put her in the car. I had never felt so scared in my life. She started to murmur her words, and I was trying to concentrate on getting my keys in the car, but I had to help her. "Freya, are you in pain?" I asked. "...I saw...his...his face" She mumbled. "Well who was it?" I wondered. "It...it was Dougie." She said. That's when I felt my heart drop to my stomach, causing me to lean over in pain. Dougie....why Dougie! "...Right never mind, let's get you to hospital" I explained. I started the car and drove out of the drive. Never had I ever felt so betrayed, by my best mate....he was going to pay.

Roman d'amourI loved her, and I knew she loved me too. We were definitely meant to be together, but now she's gone.
