THE BITE MARK
Azzim woke up on with the strange feeling, his head was aching. His neck was stinging too with pain right now. He was confused. What had happened? He didn't even remember how he got home, lying on his own bed.
He couldn't get off the bed, feeling so weak trying as he was trying to remember what exactly had happened; nightmare.
He shut his eyes with a frown on his face. It came back to him now, very slowly. He recalled feeling so hypnotized with the mysterious beautiful scent, the boy with electric blue eyes, smiling at him and whispered those words on his ears.
"I choose you..."
The picture became clear as he forced himself to remember it. He surrendered to the owner of the scent without even knowing why. 'I choose you...' What was that supposed to mean? Choose him for what?
His neck was really killing him right now. He ran his fingers there. There was a cut, as though he was bitten by something. He wanted to see himself in the mirror and take a closer look on his neck, but he was still too weak to get up on his feet.
There was someone else. It was a girl. Her face wasn't clear. All that he could recall was her bright green eyes. He also had no idea of who she was.
Azzim swore under his breath. 'What is going on?' He said to himself.

Azzim was in Hard Candy. But he wasn't himself. He was sitting at a corner by himself and nobody noticed him there. He wasn't hungry and he wasn't looking for a victim tonight. He needed a companion, just like before. It had been awhile since the last time he had one.
The boy he saw would be a perfect protégé for him. He sensed the deepest loss in that boy. He had given up his hope to live. He lost his loved ones. And he could offer him the darkness.
He chuckled. He made himself visible for once or twice so the boy could take a glimpse of him. The boy would be confused right now. But he was in no hurry for this poor soul.
"I have seen your pain, I understand how you feel and I'm here to offer something. Azzim White, I choose you!"
Azzim woke up screaming on his bed. He was sweating and his heart was beating faster. It was dark already. It was 6 in the evening. The first thing he did was looking in the mirror and he saw some kind of nasty cut on his neck. The wound had dried, but it looked fresh. He was bitten by something or someone this morning.
And the nonsense from Yvonne about the vampires in the town came back to him. It couldn't be real. But he saw the vampire that attacked him this morning. It was a vampire. Wasn't it?
But if the blond boy was a vampire, how did Azzim manage to escape? And how on earth could he possibly end up in his own apartment on his own bed? A vampire would never let their victim live to tell the day off. And something else popped up in his mind.
The girl with the green eyes! Who was that girl? If it was true she saved him, how did she know where he lived? He didn't remember telling anyone where his house was. He never invited anyone, not even his colleagues from Hard Candy.
