Six months had passed by. Dita was now one year old. She could walk and even called Lady Batra as 'mama'. Kazuya had already engaged to Lady Batra and soon, they would be husband and wife.
She used her charm to make Kazuya fell in love with her but slowly, Lady Batra was in love with him too. This was not the first time for her to fall in love with a mortal, but she couldn't help it although she was a vampire. She knew someday that Kazuya and Dita would fade away from this world, but she did not care.
It was only Lady Erme who knew about her plan. Scarlet and Carritha still had no idea about it although they became more suspicious now. She trusted on Lady Erme to look after the other two as she was getting busier with Kazuya and Dita. She would never let Lady Batra down.
Before she decided to leave them, Lady Batra gave her blood to Lady Erme. By allowing Lady Erme to drink her blood, Lady Batra was actually transferring her strength to her. It was the only way to make sure that Lady Erme had the power to control Scarlet and Carritha. She was perfectly sure that Scarlet and Carritha did not know about that.
Lady Batra could not go on as a leader of the Auburn Sisters with one hand dangling on Kazuya and Dita. She was going to move away as far as she could from the city with them once they got married. She hoped that Lady Erme would do the same once she taken over Lady Batra's place in the family.
Although she did not agree with the decision, Lady Erme had to accept the fact that Lady Batra wanted to be with Kazuya's family. It would not be for a long time, she knew that they would rejoin again someday. Not unless if Lady Batra wanted to change Kazuya and his daughter to be vampires.
On the final night Lady Batra spent with her sisters, she told them about her decision to leave. Scarlet did not seem to be surprised with it compared to Carritha. It was as though that she had seen this coming. She was happy and Lady Erme did not like that.
"The queen is leaving. Why and where?" Scarlet asked in a twisted smile.
"I don't have to tell you, don't I Scarlet? With your ability to see what I can't, I'm sure you'll know." Lady Batra replied. She was mocking Scarlet and her sarcastic behavior.
"So that leaves Erme to be in charged." Scarlet turned Lady Erme.
Lady Erme did not smile. She calculated if Scarlet had found about it earlier. Scarlet was a young vampire and she was obsessing endlessly for blood. Lady Erme had been there before, but Scarlet was getting stronger and her power and she was becoming their equal slowly. She was so consumed with the ability to see the future.
"You seem calm with this news, Erme. Did you know about this before us?"
Lady Erme did not reply the question. Scarlet turned to Lady Batra.
"I wish you all the best, Mother Batra. I know that someday that you'll be back with us. After all, eternity is what we are living, aren't we?"
Lady Batra did want to take Scarlet's words seriously. All she knew that she was going of city once she married Kazuya. It didn't matter if Scarlet would find out of where she was going. She was not a threat at all.
Scarlet on the other hand, was waiting for the time. She didn't have to chase it, it would come to her. Lady Erme was taking over as Lady Batra decided to leave. Everything seemed to be perfect and fell on the right places
"Come here, Scarlet." Lady Batra called. There was something in her hand and she turned to Lady Erme.
Lady Erme's eyebrows were almost met seeing Lady Batra's instruction. She shook her head. Scarlet exchanged looks from Lady Batra and Lady Erme. She had no idea what was actually going on.
