Chapter Twenty-Two || Morning Conversations and Moving In
P E R R I E
"I can't believe we're already leaving Paris!" Zayn groaned whilst tugging at his suitcase as we looked for a place to sit.
It was really early in the morning and we hadn't even had breakfast, hence the fact I didn't even have enough energy left in me to push through the crowd.
We had barely slept last night as we wanted to make most of our time here. I wasn't tired at all, maybe slightly droopy - but definitely not tired.
I felt so pumped up around Zayn, but today I didn't feel all the excitement like I would've done. That feeling was replaced with something else...
Guilt?
What am I to be guilty for though?!
I think Zayn felt the same way, just minus the guilt part. He was pretty droopy, but was still pumped up as though we were going on an adventure. Fuck, this boy could live the rest of his life with his eyes open.
He'd told me that he hated sleeping, and that he felt as though he was missing out on so much in the world. To be honest, at first I laughed but after staying three days in Paris with him I was beginning to accept that.
I squeezed his hand tightly, "It doesn't matter where we are Zayn. I could go anywhere as long as I'm with you"
"You don't actually mean that, right?" Zayn raised an eyebrow doubtfully.
"Of course I do!" I smiled, "Paris was an amazing experience, but you made it even better. You were the sugar in the tea"
Zayn threw his head back and laughed, "Seriously, sugar in tea?"
"Well sorry, it was all I could think of. I don't think you would prefer cherry on a cake." I rolled my eyes.
"Aha, anyway don't mention it, I know I'm the best thing that's happened to you" He let out a sarcastic laugh, "And your the best thing that has happened to me"
"Ok, save the sarcasm for later" I laughed, sitting besides him.
He gave me a grin, pulling me onto his lap, "Come here"
"Not here" I playfully scolded as he rolled his eyes.
"No one even cares" He murmured, pressing kisses onto my forehead, "No one's looking"
I cautiously checked around the airport, and he was right. Nobody was paying attention to us. Alot of the times I forget I'm dreaming. These are the perfect situations where I could do anything without a care.
"Okay" I replied softly, allowing him to pepper kisses over my face. As he was about to lean in to press his lips to my, I immediatley jerked back causing Zayn to frown.
"What's up?" He asked as I cautiously got off his lap.
"Uh..I...nothing let's go" I ran a hand through my hair, trying to avoid looking at Zayn's hurt expression. He was quick to cover it up though, thankfully.
"So I was thinking" He paused as we began walking over to the 'Passport Control' area.
"What is it?" I pouted.
"I'm just going to go ahead and say it, yeah?"
"Okay?" I raised an eyebrow.
He cleared his throat and I could clearly see him tighten his grip on his suitcase handle, "So you know before, when you said you'd go anywhere as long as your with me? Would you like to...um..you know, move in with me?"
