"Do you want to tell me what's bugging you about work?" Harry asked as we silently chewed on some toast I had made earlier.
"Not really. It's just the usual stuff that's not really interesting" I looked down at my coffee, stirring it gently.
"I'm sorry for being a bit 'overprotective' lately" he pouted, "I didn't mean to. It was just the strength and paranoia combined"
I gave him a half-hearted smile and placed my hand ontop of his, "It's all good. Let's just forget about it"
In the back of my mind, I was hoping that Harry would just let go. I already felt like the world's worst girlfriend, not being able to support my boyfriend in anything.
"Come with me to work today" Harry suggested, "Louis is not working today, so I could use some company"
Harry was a in-training Police Officer along with Louis, and their jobs would usually be either to sit in a office all day recording criminal data or to be patrolling the streets.
"That sounds perfect" I nodded as he left the room to change into his uniform.
I've never felt so confused in my life. One part of me was saying that I should not take Harry for granted and that I should be grateful for having him, and the other half is the annoying side that has been bugging me since day one, and that was Zayn.
I'm going crazy.
Zayn was literally all I could see, whether I'm dreaming or I'm awake.
Would it be considered cheating if the person I was cheating on Harry with technically did not exist?
No one would know, right?
See, why am I thinking about him? I'm an idiot. I've always thought guys are complete assholes, but now guess what- I am too. I just want to curl in a corner and cry until I drown in my own tears because clearly I'm losing it.
Maybe I should see a Physchiatrist?
Hell Yes Perrie.
I will put that on my schedule - which does not exist - but I'll make one. I need to start thinking straight, at least for today.
We left for the Police Station after an hour, and when we got there it was packed. The minute we entered, a tall man called Harry over - me following close behind.
"Goodmorning Styles, three data-collection sheets were moved to Thursday, so there will not be too much work" He said, before throwing Harry the keys to his work cubicle.
"Thank you sir" Harry replied as they shook hands, "I'll see you tomorrow"
"Yes, tomorrow! The big day!" The man enthusiastically replied, giving us both a thumbs up. I actually did not know what he was talking about, but it's not like I wasn't about to find out.
When we finally got to Harry's work cubicle, I realised that this area was actually a whole lot quiter than the other places.
I took a seat in the corner whilst he sat down infront of the computer, giving it time to warm up and turn ON.
"So, what was that guy talking about? The big day?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as I crossed a leg over.
Harry grinned, "Well you'll have to wait 'till tomorrow, won't you?"
