Ella was unconscious, and she knew it but doesn't know why. She felt a rough fabric under her. She squinted her eyes to look around her but her head ached from something that hit her hard, she held her hand and asked "What happened?"

But as she opened her eyes and saw clearly, her blood ran cold. Her eyes widen and it scanned the room trying to find anything that was familiar to her. All she saw was a picture frame of her, her parents, Ally and Grandfather.

She took a good look around the room and she stopped breathing once she noticed that she was in the modern world. Her heart beat increased almost too abnormally. She quickly ran to the window opening the curtains seeing New York.

"No!" she whispered as she backed away from the window. She quickly touched her ears and found out they weren't pointed anymore. She quickly felt tears whelming in her eyes. Then she went to the mirror and found out she looked different,

Her eyes were back to green, her hair was golden blonde and it came to her shoulders, in short she looked like her human self.

Ella thought 'This can't be, I'm human again even my eyes are pale green' she was panicking until she heard a door opened and as she saw it was a girl she didn't know her. Ella screamed making the girl jump.

"Woah! Ella! What has gotten into you?" the mysterious girl said while rolling her eyes holding a plastic of McDonald's take out. "Who are you?" Ella asked as she back to the corner. The mysterious looked at Ella as if she has just lost her marbles.

"Ella, stop playing games and come eat your lunch. You lazy ass." the brunette girl said as she set the plastic on the small table not far from the bed. Ella tried to calm down to figure everything out. "Okay, this might sound weird. But I can't remember anything and I am definitely not joking." Ella said as she came near to the table.

"Ella..." the girls groaned but as the girl looked up to Ella and saw her crying. She knew her friend was dead serious. The girl quickly got up and checked Ella's temperature. "What have you've been doing when I was gone?" she asked. "I just woke up from a sleep, I was knocked out cold." Ella replied.

"What do you mean knocked out? Someone came in here?" she asked worried. "No, I was out and..." Ella stopped, the other girl waiting for her answer. "If I told you everything then you would think I'm crazy." Ella said frustrated on how anyone is going to believe in her.

"Try me." the other girl said while folding her arms. "I'm an elf from another world, and I have no knowledge on how I got here on earth." Ella said squinting her eyes. "Ah! Ella it's all in the past... you have to move on." the other girl said, and Ella was surprised with her statement.

"What do you mean its all in the past?" Ella asked as her head throbbed from all the confusion. "Ella on your 18th birthday. Your grandfather told you about all the stories he told you are true but you rejected the offer to go and you went straight here in New York. You're sister became the chosen one of Middle Earth." she said.

"Wait! How did you know about Middle Earth?" Ella asked, curious. "You told me and also your grandfather did too. He said it was strange because you were the one so interested in all his stories but you were furious when he told you." the girl said.

"Who are you? And why do you know my grandfather?" Ella asked. The girl groaned. "Ella we have been best friends for 6 years for God's sake." she said while putting her hands up in the air and she sat down at the edge of the bed.

Ella could feel pain for her, because apparently Ella has been her best friend for 6 years and she woke up one day forgetting about their friendship, and she realized it was gonna be hard for the both of them.
