Caught up in the Middle Sequel to I cry just a Little

Garden Cave

Ella smiled even though the water chilled her to the bone that she was shivering but the warm body of Legolas' covered hers making her feel warm. Her and Legolas swam to the surface and once she took a deep breath of the fresh air that her lungs have been craving for, she then wrapped her arms around Legolas' neck making Legolas feel contented.

He smiled once he saw Ella open her eyes. "Cold?" he asked, she shook her head as she smiled brightly at him. And for some reason he felt like he is the happiest elf on the face of Middle earth. "You can swim right?" Legolas asked Ella. 

Ella giggled and said "Of course silly! If I didn't know how then I wouldn't have agreed to let you jump in the water." Legolas and Ella both laughed. "Then follow me." Legolas said as he dived back in the water, Ella tilted her head back and did a goofy smile feeling as if it was her and Legolas back from the start of getting to know each other.

She dived back into the water and followed Legolas, the cold water stung her eyes but she was more determined to follow Legolas wondering where was he taking her that made her feel like a teenager again.

Soon she noticed that they went under the waterfall and then when Legolas surfaced so did Ella. "What are we doing he--" But she was cut off once she saw what was in front of her. Behind the waterfall was a small cave but it was a garden cave and it glowed blue from all the crystals. "Wow!" Ella whispered but it echoed through the cave. "It's beautiful, I never knew it was here after..." But she didn't continue her sentence knowing that Legolas would be confused. "Yeah, Arwen just told me about this place. She said she bought Aragorn here once and thought it would be a great place to hang out with people." he said as he lifted himself out of the water and onto the grass inside of the garden cave.

He helped Ella inside and they both started looking around. "I'm surprise that Ally didn't make this her bedroom or something." Ella said as she wrapped her arms around herself, to keep herself warm. Legolas saw Ella shivering a bit but he noticed that she was trying to hide it. He wrapped his arms around Ella and said "It's also funny because you are the first person I brought here." Ella turned around to face Legolas and she asked "Legolas, do you know who I am? I mean who I really really am? Or even remember me?"

"I don't know why I brought you here because I barely know you, I only know that you are the rightful chosen one, sister of Ally who rejected her mission. But as I think of it I am suppose to hate you but I don't. My heart feels comfortable around you, it's like I have met you before but I don't know you like- know you." he said frustratedly. "Can you at least tell me why I am like this? Why do I feel like I know you but at the same time... I don't. You keep saying that you know me from before and we elves are best known to remember everything but lately it feels like my world has been turned upside down, please tell me anything." he said as he shook Ella's shoulders gently.

"If I tell you, you won't believe me." Ella said as she tried to fight the tears back. "I don't care if I believe you or not. I just need to know because something is out there! A darkness taking Lady Galadriel over and if it has anything to do with that darkness then I will believe you, maybe not now but someday." he said.

Ella took a deep breath and said "My name is Ella Stormcrow, the day I turned eighteen was the day I discovered I was the chosen one of the last prophecy, the day I discovered Middle Earth was real the day I accepted my fate and traveled with Grandfather and Arwen to Middle Earth. I've met everyone including you, you swore you would protect me from any harm that we will part take in the journey and that when I have survived my destiny then we will travel the whole land.... together." Legolas was shocked that she knew the exact words that he had said to Ally. He nodded and gestured her to continue.

"We traveled and you did protect me and cheered me up when Grandfather fell in the Mines of Moria while fighting the balrog. When Boromir did something to me in the forest of Lothlorien, you saved me and cheered me up. You were always there for me. But I ignored you because I was afraid that in the end when I die you will fade from grief." Ella said as tears started pouring from her eyes. "We had our first kiss in Dunland when we were celebrating our victory in Helms deep where I played or did a spell called 'Lady of the Golden Light' in the end I died but because of how we loved each other, because of how strong our love was for one another. I came back and became immortal... became an elf. We spent the rest of our days loving each other and traveling the whole land with Gimli." she said as she took Legolas' hands. "One day you asked me to marry you and I said yes. We got married and had Thalion."

"That's why Thalion calls you... Naneth." Legolas whispered but Ella heard what he said. Legolas looked deep into her eyes, he tried his best to picture Ella in Ally's place but no matter how hard he tried to imagine his head would hurt. But he couldn't explain how Thalion could call her mother and how he noticed that Ella and Thalion had the same smile. He always thought that Ella was related to Ally and that explained it but when Thalion calls her Naneth or how Thalion acts whenever he sees Ella, he just couldn't explain that.

Suddenly both of them felt a pull like a connection. They both stared into each others eyes as if they were looking right to their very own soul. Both of them started to lean in because of the strong pull. But right as they were just an inch away from tasting the other person lips, they heard splashes of water and someone shouted.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?"
