As Ella and Legolas passed the border line between Ered Luin and the Shire they both couldn't hold back their laughter so right as they both felt the soft grass of Ered Luin, they both burst out laughing crashing down on the grass together. "I never want Pippin to ever try that again." Ella giggled as she was referring to the time pippin ran off trying to scream like Ella. Legolas laid in front of Ella staring at her beautiful eyes. Once Ella caught Legolas looking at her, her giggles came to a stop and she stared back into the eyes of the handsome Elven prince.

"I wish I could remember more of you." Legolas whispered as he caressed Ella's cheek. "I wish you can." Ella whispered back. They then started leaning in to kiss each other but then Ella pulled back with a playful smile on her face. She then stood up and shouted "But you have to catch me." As she ran off towards a small field of flowers. Legolas grinned and started chasing after Ella but since Ella was human Legolas quickly caught up to Ella grabbing her by her waist and lightly lifting her off the ground, spinning her around. Ella squealed she then ended up in Legolas' arms only inches away from his delicious kissable lips.

"Ella promise me something." Legolas said his breath tickling Ella's lips. "What may that be?" she asked as she threw her arms around his neck wanting to kiss already. "If ever we are to be caught or whatever happens, if we are parted promise me that you'll never give up on making me remember." he said. Ella pulled him closer to her. His lips was upon hers moving together perfectly. Ella then pulled back and whispered "Promise." they both smiled as their foreheads were against each other. The moment was perfect, the moment was natural and most of all the moment was familiar.

Legolas and Ella stayed at a small Elven place, every morning they would take their morning stroll to the bakery to buy bread. Then they would eat their breakfast at the docks were they would watch the sunrise. Then they would spend their time either walking around discovering places or back at their place talking about anything and everything. It was like they both had no problems at all and both were happy and overjoyed to be with each other.

Ella was just folding the clothes and putting them back into the drawers but before she could return them to their respected place she felt lips make contact with her neck but she already knew who was kissing her other wise she would slap that person. His arms then wrapped around her waist putting pressure on the kiss on her neck making a small moan escape her lips. He then turned her around and kissed her lips. "Be quiet Ella we have neighbors." he teased her. She giggled and playfully slapped Legolas' shoulder. "Silly elf." she muttered as she returned the folded clothes to the drawers. "Stubborn woman." he returned back with a playful smile.

Legolas then cupped Ella's face and he asked "How about me and you go down to the lake and take a little swim?" Ella smiled knowing Legolas loved to swim when he is having a good day. "Sure, I would love that." she replied as she pecked Legolas' lips then disappeared to get ready.

The basket in one of Legolas' hand and in the other was Ella's hand as they both happily strolled down to the small lake. "Remember if we get caught there are no hobbits here to distract them." Ella said worried if they were to be caught Legolas chuckled and teased "Or dress up like you." They both shared a small laugh and as they both looked at each other Legolas leaned in to kiss her cheek. "I never want to leave here but..." Ella trailed off as her eyes looked at the ground with pure sadness. "But what?" Legolas asked.

"I miss Thalion." she replied swallowing the burning sensation that crept in her throat. She didn't want to cry especially in this perfect sweet moment that she rarely shared with Legolas.

Legolas gave a gentle squeeze to Ella's hand and said with compassion "I also miss Thalion but for us to be happy again... I have to remember."

"Aren't you happy?" Ella asked worried that Legolas wasn't happy with her. He smirked just as they arrived near the lake. "What kind of question is that?" he asked sarcastically as he gently put the basket on the ground an scoop Ella up in his arms and dived into the lake without warning. As Ella resurfaced she splashed water at Legolas and they both started playing in the water and every now and then they would lean in and share a loving lingering kiss that only made them want for more.

As Ella and Legolas were sharing a very hot moment together (not the funny stuff) they were just kissing and caressing when suddenly. "They're over there!!" They heard someone yell, Legolas pulled away and looked to where the voice came with his keen elven sight he saw the Rivendell guards making their way towards them. Legolas' eyes grew wide, he quickly grabbed the basket and hide it under the water. "Hey what is that for? I am hungry." Ella said confused why Legolas would do such a thing. Legolas cupped Ella's face and said "They have found us, I'll count to 3 then we'll both hide under water. Hold you breath as long as you can okay?" Ella now was scared.

"1..." Legolas started looking at Ella wondering if this was their only moment together. "2..." he then leaned in for another lingering kiss. Savoring the taste of her lips upon his. "3."

Then they both disappeared under the water. The guards then didn't notice the two lovers under the water so they continued running-- passing the two lovers. Right as the guards passed Legolas and Ella then resurfacced and quickly got out the lake running quickly to their place where they temporary called Home. They both giggled and laugh until they neared their home.

But things usually come to an end, happiness only dwells in short span of time before harsh reality catches up to them. As Legolas and Ella entered the room they noticed they weren't the only ones in the room. Their eyes drifted to the figure in the corner who stood tall and intimidating. Legolas bowed his head in shame not meeting the eyes of their visitor, Ella flinched at the disappointment in their visitor's eyes both of their hearts were breaking because they knew that this might be the end to their relationship. A time that both of them wish would never come. Ella took a deep breath then whispered sadly...

"Grandfather."
