Caught up in the Middle Sequel to I cry just a Little

Ella's heart beat was growing crazy she has been waiting for this moment for a year now ever since she went missing, well, her life went missing not actually her. She was hoping and praying that Legolas would remember because if he can't then who would?

Their lips were an inch away from touching then right as Ella could feel his breath upon her lips Legolas pushed her away gently. "I'm sorry Ella, can't do this. Kissing someone else other than my wife is wrong." he said looking at the ground then he walked away leaving a heart broken Ella behind.

Right then and there Ella knew she was caught in the middle, the middle of believing that her whole life was a lie or that there was no hope in restoring her life back the way its suppose to be. A tear escaped Ella's eye and she whispered "Elbereth, if you can hear me.... Please... *sobs* Help me... I need the strength to carry on through this pain I am going through. I miss my life, my son, my husband, I miss me." she prayed hoping someone can hear her prayers.

It was morning again and they traveling in silence through the lone Lands to finally reach Bree. Legolas and Ella had a great distance between them, Legolas was ignoring Ella, he thinks things are awkward between them while Ella thought that it wasn't suppose to be this way,

"Hey Ella! You alright?" Summer asked as she rode her horse next to Ella's. Ella smiled sheepishly and said "Yeah, I'm fine." Was all Ella could say she was deep in depression. Summer grabbed Ella's hand and said "They will remember, I promise you that! We just have to spend our time with this Tom guy and maybe he could help us." Ella sighed and said "Summer, it's not that easy being me and not having the life that you are used to."

"We'll stop in Bree for the night, then the next day we will arrive at Tom bombadil's house." Elrohir called out in front of us. Summer looked at Elrohir and they locked eyes and smiled. Ella cleared her throat and asked "You like him do you?" Summer blushed and said "Nonsense Ella, besides I am a mortal." Ella thought of what Summer said and she was right, all her best friends were mortal Summer, Arwen, Eowyn, Aragorn and so many others. Ella sighed again hoping they would all remember before their time came up.

Finally after a whole day of traveling the party finally arrived at Bree. They were led through the people. People gave them glares and some looked at them in awe. They came to a place called 'The Prancing Pony' 

"The girls will sleep in one room while we rest in another each one of us men will take turns watching their doors." Elrohir said as the group dismounted their horse, Ella's head shot up and asked "Why watch? There is no evil anymore now that Sauron and Saruman is gone." Elrohir, Elladan and Legolas looked at each other and Elladan said "Yes my lady that is true, but that doesn't mean there are other evil out there."

"The only evil here is Ally and her annoying voice." Summer muttered under her breath, good thing the elves did not here her. Ella looked at Summer and wondered how could she know how she could whisper without the elves hearing her? Strange.

While Summer was upstairs resting and the guards guarding her Ella was downstairs sitting at one of the tables playing with the food she was about to eat. Legolas and the Rivendell twins were in a small distance at another table watching her and having their own conversation.

"She seems sad." Elladan said. 

"I agree brother but what could she be sad about?" Elrohir asked. 

"She wanted to stay in Rivendell but was force to go to Tom bombadil." Legolas said as he took a sip of his water. The twins looked at him and Elrohir said "Its strange though, Gandalf told us that something evil is following her. She used to be the chosen one but she rejected it. does it have to do something with that?"

"I don't know brother, there is something special about this one. I can feel it. I never felt it with Ally but Ella is a different story." Elladan said, Legolas just looked at the twins intently. Legolas asked to himself Is it wrong to have feelings towards his wife's sister?

Ella noticed that the group was so focused on their conversation that she quickly slipped out the small bar/Inn. And into the cold night of Bree. She wrapped her cloak around her tightly and walked off into the night. Finding some peaceful place to be, she ended up on the roof of 'The prancing Pony' The moon light was hitting her skin and her skin was burning lightly. "Let me feel the sting, the pain the burn under my skin." Ella said into the night. She knew somebody was behind her.

"You know it is dangerous to be outside alone." his voice rang through the night like an angel singing a lullaby. "Put me to the test I'll prove that I am strong." Ella said not turning around to face the handsome blonde elf. "I know that you are strong..." Legolas didn't know what to say, he knew he should tell the others that he have found her but he wanted to be alone with her for a while.

"About yesterday Ella.. it is--" Ella cut him off by saying. "Won't let myself believe that what we feel is wrong." Legolas sighed as Ella turned to him and the moon was reflecting off her skin making her look like an angel. "I won't deny that I feel something Ella but I have a wife and son and I love my wife very much! That' why I claimed her mine forever. But something is tugging me towards you. Who are you?" Legolas asked frustratedly.

"I told you who I was already, I am the great chosen one who saved Middle earth." Ella said with no emotion because all she could feel right now was numbness. "You are lying. Ally saved Middle earth!" Legolas said his anger rising. 

"Then please tell me Legolas, why is there still evil out there? Why is Ally the chosen one and I am not? It is stated that if the chosen one rejects her mission then the mission is doomed." Ella said also anger rising from her voice.

"You have the same blood running through your veins." Legolas said. 

"BUT I AM THE REINCARNATION OF LADY GALADRIEL!! I AM THE LADY OF THE GOLDEN LIGHT!! I AM THE ONE WHO SAVED MIDDLE EARTH!! TELL ME IS ALLY SMART ENOUGH TO SAVE ANYTHING?" Ella said as a shadow grew behind her and she was stooping towards Legolas her eyes were getting lighter and something within her shined. Her voice grew big and deeper but as she finished her sentence she was back to the normal Ella. "Oh my.." Ella said shocked at what just happened. Legolas stood there confused and scared. He didn't know what to believe. "Sorry." Ella said as she ran away with tears in her eyes.
