Caught up in the Middle Sequel to I cry just a Little

Runaway

Ella and Legolas turned around to see, of course! Ally standing there with her hands on her waist. "Well?" Ally shouted, expecting an answer but no one answered. 

"Seize her!" Ally ordered the guards behind her while pointing at Ella. Suddenly Legolas' hand brushed against Ellas'. In the corner of Ella's eye she saw Legolas' head turn to her with a grin on his face. Suddenly and unexpectedly Legolas pulled Ella, soon before Ella could even register it in her head, Ella and Legolas was running away from Ally and the guards. "Where are we going?" Ella shouted while they ran but before Legolas could answer the question. Both of them jumped into the water and swam back to where the normal surface was.

Once they could breathe fresh air, Ella splashed water in Legolas' face and asked furiously "What are you doing?" 

"I don't know... Okay! I swear..... right before we were about to... you know... kiss. The moment, standing in front of you just felt so right. It felt like I belong there! And when Ally came to ruin the moment, it felt like my whole world was crashing." Legolas argued back. Ella stared at Legolas as if he just grew another head.

"Legolas I—" Before Ella could say anything else. Legolas pulled her face closer to his, closing the space between their lips. His lips felt like heaven, she was in ecstasy. Her heart soared high up in the sky and came back to earth, Middle Earth that is. Ella held on to Legolas since they were still swimming. Legolas pulled away then he asked something Ella wasn't expecting. "Runaway with me?" Ella's eyes grew wide. "What?" she asked, to make sure she heard the right thing.

He cupped her face again and looked deep into her eyes as if he was staring right into her very soul. "Ella Stormcrow, please runaway with me." he said, Ella smiled. She knew better than to runaway though. "What about Thalion? And everything here?" Ella asked. 

"Thalion will be in Aragorn's care along with lady Arwen. They know what I'm about to do. And it's only for a week. Just me and you!" he said, Ella smiled and nodded happily. Ella and Legolas swam to shore on the other side of Rivendell. They then started running away together.

They both ran and ran, of course! Legolas had his bow and daggers with him. So Ella felt safe as long as she is with Legolas. "Where are we going?" Ella asked as they passed the Trollshaw. Legolas grabbed Ella's hand and said "Ered Luin, far as possible from Rivendell and Mirkwood. And maybe we could stop by at the Shire." Ella's eyes widen with excitement. "But you don't remember me?" Ella asked, the question that she dreaded among everything else.

Legolas bowed his head and said "No, but I hope this journey will make me remember. I don't know if what you say is true. I can't believe you yet. As of now my heart is taking over."

Ella smiled and they kept running and sometimes Legolas would have to carry Ella since Ella was a human. They stopped at Osgoroth, which is in the lone lands. Some people who were friends of Aragorn lend Legolas and Ella a small tent. Legolas built a fire and they both started talking. "Tell me Prince of Mirkwood, what made you like me?" Ella asked as she propped her head on hand and her elbow was holding her up. Legolas grinned, which made Ella melt on the inside. "First of all, you're beautiful. You're smarter and of course! A lot more kinder. But when I look at Ally all I see and remember were the times we had before, she has changed a lot. Every time I look at you *looks at Ella* Life, your love for everyone. You're different Ella. You're something special... something that's worth fighting for. Someone worth sacrificing for." Ella looked at the ground and blushed.

Legolas smiled as he saw Ella blush, he thought she looked cute every time she blushed. "Let's get some rest, we shall travel to Bree tomorrow." Legolas said as he was about to put out the fire. "Legolas." Ella called out, Legolas said nothing but he looked at Ella who was on the other side of the bonfire. "Thank you!" she said as she leaned close to give Legolas a peck on the lips. Ella then quickly laid down with her back facing Legolas.

She was nervous having a night alone with Legolas but finally she had a night that she felt complete. Suddenly Ella felt arms wrapped around her waist, she turned around to see Legolas laying down next to her. "Good Night Ella." he said as his breath tickled her skin making her shiver. "Good night." Ella said as she fell asleep peacefully in Legolas' arms.
