Homecoming is tomorrow and Harry has been working his ass off to make it happen along with the students, so he was feeling more tired than he has in a long time. It was like all of the energy drained out of him when he put up the last ribbon for the decorations, and right now he kind of just wanted to go home and sleep. It was mandatory for him to attend since he needed to chaperone, but the good part about it was that other teachers were doing the same.
Though something has been bugging him these past few days, and it's that Louis hadn't been talking to him; exchanging only quick hello's when Harry saw him in the hallway. Otherwise, they haven't had a full interaction since the day Harry sucked him off at his house. Was Louis avoiding him because Harry didn't do it too well? Was he getting bored? Maybe Harry needed to start practicing on bananas again.
Harry didn't know that he was visibly frowning until Luke skipped over to him in the decorated recreation room, which was where homecoming was being held, holding onto a thin sheet of paper with an eyebrow raised. "What's with the long face, Horton?"
"Nothing, just hoping that the dance turns out well." Harry replied, shocked at how easily he managed to lie. "Is there anything you need?"
At first Luke looked confused, but then he smiled and held out the paper in his hand to Harry. "It's the teachers who are chaperoning and what sides they should specifically be on during the dance. I don't think that Lizzy should be by the snack table anymore, so feel free to edit it. Louis and I will be at the door getting the tickets."
"You and...Louis. Tickets." Can I edit that part too?
Luke blinked. "Yeah. Remember we all came to a mutual agreement with that at our meeting with Principal Plowser." Then he grinned, leaning in to whisper to Harry just in case a student walked by and heard him. "Okay, so you now how after homecoming the teachers go out to the bar to celebrate? Well, I have this bomb ass plan that'll get Louis to possibly make out with me. I've been following your advice, and I think it's working."
"Oh, really?" Harry asked, his voice becoming high pitched. Maybe he should tell Luke that he had no chance since him and Louis had been doing more than making out and ruin all of his plans. No, shut up. "What's your plan?"
"It's a secret," said Luke while wiggling his eyebrows, then he backed away from Harry. "Anyways, I'm gonna go. Louis is waiting for me in his classroom. Have fun with your..." Luke looked up at the ribbons and pursed his lips, trying to refrain from laughing. "Decorations. Thanks for your help."
Harry waited until Luke left the gym before he took down the ribbons, nearly ripping the ends of them all in the process.

Harry sat on his couch with his face buried into the cushion, his arm dangling off the side as he groaned loudly from being moody. Ever since he got home he had been lying down on the couch without moving a muscle; too busy thinking about Louis. He didn't notice Liam walk into the living room until he heard his best friend clear his throat and throw a pillow at his head. Harry didn't actually move, he simply raised his arm in the air as a response.
"Why are you moping?" Liam inquired curiously, then taking it upon himself to walk over and sit on Harry's back. "Today is not the day to mope."
Harry lifted his head up from the couch with his eyes closed. "Everyday is the perfect day to mope and you cannot tell me any differently." Then he let his face dig back into the cushion again.
