Chapter 3

You got it, you got it, some kind of magic

Chapter Three

I couldn't wait!

 I was hanging on  the edge of my seat, waiting for the bell to ring to end Mr. Duke’s boring lesson about the cerebral cortex, advanced biology, what a waste of time.

 I couldn't wait to see Cole, I missed him. It sucked that I didn't have him in any one of my classes.

 Matt put his hand on my shoulder yanking me gently so I sat back on my seat, "Can you try not to be annoying?" He said, not lifting his head from the notes he was taking, "Not all of us are smarty pants like you." He finished.

 I signed and slumped back in my chair, "Can I help it?" I asked, "I have a hunk of hotness waiting for me and his all mine."

 Matt shook his head and carried on taking down notes.

 Five agonizing minutes later the bell rang! I let out a triumphant 'Yelp' only to get nudged by Matt, "Come on you, let's go get you your fix."

 Matt slung his arm around my shoulder, I laughed goofily at him, pulling out my camera and snapping a shot, he blinked in surprise for a split second and then shrugged in acknowledgement, he was used to me snapping pictures and catching him off guard,the photos i took of him always came out beautiful.

 I was interested in photography, and I sometimes took pictures for the school newspaper, I didn't actually want to join. I just enjoyed taking random pictures of random stuff but mostly of Amber, Matt and Cole (when he let me).

 "Hey Kylie." Matt called out, I looked up and Kylie was at her locker, she smiled, shut her locker and walked over to us.

 "Hey guys, how was your day?" She asked cheerfully, this morning’s madness forgotten.

 "Great." We said in unison.

"That's awesome; I was just on my way to practice." She rapped, she really talked fast, you had to pay close attention to what she was saying. 

"Need a lift after practice?" I asked

"You’re staying?" She asked.

"Yeah she needs her daily dose of eye candy." Matt chipped in.

"Oh gosh" she said dismissively.

I was not addicted to Cole, okay maybe just a little he was everything I wanted, sweet, caring, thoughtful, every girls dream.

"Catch you later hoe." I said to Kylie, and dragged Matt away.

 We met up with Cole by the male locker room.

 When I spotted him my tummy did a small flips and butterflies had risen, he gave me a small smile.

 "Hi." I said smiling from ear to ear, god he was so damn hot.

"I'll see you at the bleachers okay." Cole said before opening the door and walking through with Matt in tow, Matt looking at me giving me a small sympathetic smile.

I watched as Cole tackled Jack, a guy from the team, it was a hard hit; Jack just laid on the ground, moaning and rolling around in pain.

 Cole was a very aggressive player, he took his anger out on the field, and he played hard, full contact, whether it was just practice or a real game.

 I took a quick snap of the scene before Cole walked away, amazing he didn’t even help the guy up.
