Chapter 6

The party was in full swing, even though it only started about two hours ago. There were people every where, even on the front lawn, drinking, talking and having fun.

 Matt, Kylie and I walked through the house, dodging people as best we could. Every direction we walked drinks were handed to us, Kylie got all the attention from the popular kids and the not so popular kids, all of them greeting her as we walked by.

 She dragged me to the kitchen before I had a chance to look for Cole; I knew he wouldn’t take the time to find me.

There was a table in the kitchen and a crowd surrounding it, a girl I knew as one of the biggest sluts of our high school, was spread on the table, her top pulled up and boys were taking there time taking jelly shots off her bare stomach.

“Girls have no class.” Kylie whispered to me, “At least wear a decent bra.” She finished. Here I was thinking she meant that the girl had random guys coming up to her and licking stuff off her stomach, boy was I wrong.

“Come on, they playing beer pong in the other room.” Kylie dragged me into the game room, where   the game was going on.

Beer pong is famous at our parties and I tried it once before and got completely sloshed, Kylie and I had to be dragged home by Matt because we decided to go skinny dipping and there was no pool at the party, so we literally dove in to solid ground and swam around. We had already taken off out clothes and were in our underwear when Matt found us. Trust him to take care of us, he acted like our big brother that night, even scolding us on our bad behaviour and never lets us live it down, but we were younger then, less experienced with parties and alcohol.

“Do  you want to play?” Kylie asked eagerly.

“Have you forgotten what happened last time?” Matt chipped in, giving us the ‘don’t even think about it look’.

“Right how about we get a couple of shots.” Kylie said before dragging me in the direction of the nearest table that had drinks on it. She poured three shot of tequila, all three of us lined up.

“One.” I said.

“Two.” Kylie said.

“Three.” Matt said.

All three of us licked the salt off our hand, tilted or head back to have the shot and sucked on a lemon.

I wiped my mouth when I was finish, feeling the liquor sliding down my throat, warming up every area it touched.

“Again!” Kylie jumped.

She prepared the next shot.

“One” I said

“Two.” Kylie said

“Three.” Matt said.

We repeated the process of before.

When we were finish Matt turned us, “I’ll catch you guys later, there’s a girl over there who looks interested.” he said, pointing to a girl who was staring straight at us from across the room, she gave him a wink.
